The only skits in which he was halfway bearable with the Hamlet audition, in which he was basically playing himself and not doing anything, and maybe the Rashish skit in which he was playing himself and not doint very much (though the skit pretty much deteriorated after he appeared on screen anyway).

Thing is, Jude hosted before didn't he? I don't think he sucked at all last time.  I personally thought Gerard Butler was TERRIFIC earlier this season as host!

I wish E! still showed one-hour reruns of SNL.  Right now, I'm eating bran flakes and watching the last few minutes of VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown. Adam Lambert at # 1 this week with not-bad-at-all power-ballad "What Do You Want From Me?"
