I was thinking Saturn Girl too based on the placement of Cos and Garth and also the frowns on several of the team's faces.

I don't see Brainy in that scene, either.

Colossal Boy looks like a cro-magnon trying to suss out a differential equation.

that sounds like an insult Brainy would use.

what I find interesting is all of the Wanderers that are still on the cover. I suppose the LSH is about to get larger. which makes me wonder, who's in charge of housekeeping for the HQ?

I see Phantom Girl, Shrinking Violet, Colossal Boy, Light Lass, Thoom, Lightning Lad, Ultra Boy, Mon-El, Starboy, Jeyra Entinn, Supergirl, Polar Boy, Sun Boy, Unknown Purplish female, Karate Kid, Dome-headed guy, Lightning Lord, Chameleon, Shadow Lass, Guy from Sun Boy's team, Cosmic Boy, Phren?, White Witch, and Inferno.

I thought maybe the shadow behind Mon was Element Lad 'cause it sort of looks like his costume.

I love seeing the White Witch (in that costume) in such a prominent place in a Legion cover again. It's been sooo long...

Cosmic Boy: "I've decided that I talk WAY too much."

Team: "Gasp! But, if you stop your incessant droning, we'll be at the mercy of Awkward Pause Boy!"

Supergirl: "I've decided that I make so much more sense here than in my own title that I'll never leave."

Team: "As long as we can stand around in the background!"

I can't wait for this issue it seems like a real interesting one.

Gee, I wonder if the surprise decision is someone going off to lead a band of murderous super teenagers.

Where do you see Sun Boy, Nightly? That guy behind Cos's head? How can you tell?

It's an interesting composition but everybody looks so glum. I'm ready for the "Super-Hero Happy Hour" issue.

Note: Invisible Kid and Brainy appear on the May 'Action' cover. That must count for something.

Wild Speculations:

Duo Damsel (I've previously wildly speculated that her Element-Lad-lovin' third body dies in issue #29) returns to Cargg with an inflatable love interest.

I wonder if that is just supposed to feature the Legion and the Wanderers, or if the two teams are going to merge?

That is just an AMAZING cover.

The concept, composition, & execution are all spot on.

We really haven't seen a group shot like this in long time, and it is so cool to see . Even if we are not sure yet who is the group on the cover!

I have to echo the sentiments on seeing the White Witch featured so prominently. Of all the Wanderers, I would love to see her join the Legion permanently. That would be so cool. A Barry makes her look SO good!

And, I now think that "Unknown Purplish female" might just be Dream Girl! *crosses fingers*

Okay, I'ved looked and I still can't tell it's Sun Boy. Maybe I'm just not remembering his new (awful) costume.

Just a Thought but read the solicit again:
What if LL, a founder (Longtime member) announces a break with the UP after having his eyes opened while working with The Wanderers. This would also open up remaining members of The Wanderers to consider membership in the Legion (like White Witch)

I hope it is Saturn Girl because so far she's hardly got in a word in edgewise. She's badly in need of some characterization.

Maybe Saturn Mom will pull political rank and insist that Imra leave the team for her own safety, which she agrees to do to keep the peace between the Legion and the United Planets.

Sorry but that struck me as funny considering she can't speak.

Maybe it is Karate Kid going back to the past since he is on the cover of Countdown.

So this is officialy the last of the WaK issues?
