My virginity -- or lack thereof -- is of no concern to you, plebeian!
Are you not aware that I create the laws around here, and therefore am exempt from their proscriptions?
Do you not realize that your so-called position as "co-Deputy of the LMB" was arranged by the emperor himself as part of his master plan?

Honestly, I can't understand how this thread failed to clear the 30-post mark.

The moral backlash, I guess. Actually, Am I allowed to use "lash" in that sentence. It sounds...well... immoral.

Hi, I'm Clive, current co-Deputy Leader of the LMB (in the midst of a curiously-long term, but I digress)!
And yes, I'm a virgin! I'm currently dating mega-hunk, Time Teller Lad, but we're not having sex--just good ol' fashioned kissing for us! And we're never gonna do anything more unless we someday walk down the aisle in Holy Matrimony!
In celebration, I've finally taken up a superhero codename. While it doesn't represent my Lardforce powers, it DOES affirm my lifestyle choice and my overall desire to bring back decency and self-control in a World gone hedonistic! Call me: Virgin Lad!!!
And to both promote virginity as an alternate lifestyle choice and to move the moral compass here in the opposite direction it's been going, I am opening The Legion World Department of Moral Pureness!
So join us, fellow virgins, or even those who or not but relish the opportunity to recapture their innocence and to help others do so! It could be because Virgin Lad is now Kalla Hrykos, who is clearly female. The opposition made quite a big deal over that little tidbit.

Far be it for me to question people's shifting gender choices. I didn't know we had an opposition. Actually, I didn't know we had a group that an opposition could form against. Wait a second. That means that I've not been invited to join either group! >choke< I feel a DC broken romance cover coming on...

Are you ready to be evocatively left out on your cover, thothkins? Frown for the camera!

I don;t have to frown for the camera. I always have one. An evocative frown, of course.

Oh, then perhaps neither party invited you because each assumed you were being all frowny at them. Not understanding that you were merely being evocative.

It's fine line that's easily crossed. Fortunately I have plenty of time to practice as no one invites me to join anything.

Is this the point in the movie where you get the gentle nudge from a kindred soul to form your OWN club?

I hereby begin the first meeting of the League of Hermits! Now, onto the new year's party....um.... never mind...drinking isn't morally pure anyway. It would never get past this thread. Pretty much any other thread, but not this one...

Thothkins, if you want to take over as head of the LWDMP, I'm fairly certain you will be unopposed!
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Pardon?
Sorry, I'm in the middle of my latest monograph - "Enforcing the 2 mile social barrier between respectable ladies and dashing avatars. 5 miles if they've read Bronte."

I am fining this thread for Un-LMBP-like behavior.
The fine is $225 if paid on or before January 1. It goes up $25 per hour thereafter.

That's a bit harsh. I feel confident that the standards of this thread will deteriorate towards the LMBP norm in less time that it takes to say "knickers!"
See?
Yes "knickers" is just one of the many, many words that are on the LWDMP proscribed list.

I guess it is good that someone looks at domestic issues when others are busy fighting alien threats. As for myself, all marriage arrangements will be conducted in private meetings with my family. I can give anyone the number of a good matchmaking agency if they need it.

I believe the LWDMP would approve of matchmaking in a carefully structured environment, as opposed to letting us all off to find our partners in the streets of Legion World!
Why, who knows what shenanigans we would get up to?

The other good thing about having structured, chaperoned, matchmaking is that it gives you much more time to shop for Legion wedding wands.

Or, if you're not at all famous like the Legionnaires, it gives you enough time to find someone who can make a flattering likeness of you!

Be sure not to visit Golden Boy's statue emporium for this. He only makes statues of dead people, and if you aren't when you arrive you will be shortly after he starts work.
People will be amazed at its likeness, but can't seem to find the original to compare.

Actually, the dirty secret of the "wedding wands" is that they were designed to double as.....DILDOS!

Although far from morally pure, I'd say that use of a wedding wand representation of a Legionnaire would still ensure the virginal purity of the person using the wand. Even Bouncing Boy or Elastic Lad wedding wands.
There is some debate about this, but to avoid confusion...don't. Which is pretty much the mantra for the LWDoMP.
Bad Paladin.
