Tony Bedard is top notch, so I don't mind at all (he and Waid are old Crossgen buddies!). This looks great and I can't wait.

I'm sure it all won't be pleasant though...

The playing God thing makes it sound like he'll have to kill someone to bring Nura back. This is not unusual in resurection stories.

Can I hope that "Super BritneyGirl" volunteers to hold up the lightning rod. *crosses fingers* **no protoplasmic blobs, no protoplasmic blobs**

Oh wait, upon further review of the source material Supers, wouldn't be killed by the lightning that revives Garth.... er Nura. Kara would just be in a 'death like coma'. Its win/win.

We'll know for sure if issue 22 is solicited as Supergirl's Comatose Corpse and the Legion of Superheroes.

Brainy's been so busy reviving Nura that I wonder what's happened to the U.P.'s new economic system that he was supposed to be designing.

I reckon if supergirl thinks this is all a dream then the way she gets to and from the 21st to the 31st century is going to be somehow bound up in Nura's powers/apparent death.
I like this Kara – Nura connection. It kind of works what with Kara babbling on about dreaming everything up that’s happening around her and what with Nura’s prediction that she and Brains would get married someday. Maybe Nura even played Brains by “predicting” to him that they would get married, knowing that she was doomed and he would rise to the challenge to resurrect her to give the “prediction” a chance to come true. That’s very sneaky, sis. Plus that type of devotion from B5 was reserved for Kara in previous versions of LSH. Wheels within wheels. Regardless, it is going to be fun to see how this thing is actually going to play out.

So what.

He dropped off a 3x5 card at UP headquarters with the word "Wampum" scrawled on it in pencil. His work there is done.

That, or he told them his system depends critically on Nura predicting how much money everyone will get, so...

I like this idea, but I don't think Nura realized she was doomed. She didn't seem to understand the significance of her inability to see into the future beyond a certain time.

Great cover. I've seen something very like it somewhere before though. Wonder Woman?

I like the idea of connecting Dreamy to SG. I can hardly wait to read the story.
And yes, resurrection is usually connected to someone else dying, even in the Legion.

A little (very little) spoilerish info about the preview of #21 I saw at Comic Con. Unfortunately, I hadn't read #20 before seeing it so I was a little confused, plus there's only pictures (no words) and a few pages were missing.

I'll probably come back to edit this this weekend when I have another chance to see the preview.

<span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Apparently, the other anti-Legion Legion (including Seiss) break out the jailed giants. Dream Girl's resurection is yet another cliffhanger and not fulfilled in this issue. And, I think Lightning Lad quits to save the Legion from being U.P. puppets. Or at least that's what it looked like to me.</span></span>

Oh no! Not <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Lightning Lad too!</span></span> Hopefully, these absences are temporary.

Ok. Here are my second look/post-reading-#20 spoilers. There's actually one important point I neglected to mention the first time around, so you may want to read this if you read the above spoiler.

<span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">There are three Anti-Legionnaires helping the Giants to escape and who attack Colossal Boy. They are disguised as SP officers. Seiss is one of them and eventually makes CB puke. One is a girl with short hair, whose powers aren't visual enough for me to see (if she has any). The third is (or could very well be) the re-imagined Polar Boy! He doesn't look or dress like Amanda's version, but this guy has ice powers and freezes CB more than once (as well as his puke).

Dream Girl's scenes end in a blinding light similar to the cover and then we see Brainy with a goffy look on his face and his mouth open.

The Lightning Lad thing may or may not be the case. The issue (or the preview) ends with he and Cos flying back to base and apparently talking. The last few panels, LL takes off his ring and appears in civies. But, Cos is in the last panel smiling. So, I'm not really sure what is going on there.</span></span>

I just hope this:

<span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Dream Girl's "return"</span></span>

leads to this:

<span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">the end of Element Lad's moronic harping about the ultimate transformation.</span></span>

I really miss Barry.

After reading the actual comic and then re-reading my spoilers, it looks like I wrong about a few things and it was very nice to see the added/missing pages from the preview.

I could have swore that Nemesis Kid looked like a girl in the black and white no dialogue version. I was kinda right about the LL situation. And, I'm not sure I'm that I'm happy about the Dream Girl resolution.
