See, what a great guy ! Thanks again Darden! I started hunting down old Legion stories on Ebay a few months ago, but have had to take it slow since we grad students should not be using our credit cards to go into debt buying Silver Age comic books.

I have often thought that the basic plot of this story would make a great way to introduce the Legion into the Smallville TV series.

I think I like this one better than Mon-El's first appearance (since both are slightly similar and only about ten issues apart).
This is the issue (when I read it in the Archives) that made me really like Marla Latham!
And I always thought that Pete Ross and Ultra Boy should have stayed friends once the Silver Age ended (is that another Legion issue with Jo in Smallville?)

Great purchase, Cobes! Nice of Faraway to sit this one out for you. Whatta guy! I just read this story for the first time the other day in the Archives and it was really fun. As Obadiah said, it would be a great way to introduce the Legion or just a singular Legionnaire in Smallville or any Superman-related series. Alas, the loss of Lana's thought balloons. But what I want to know is why Clark and Jo both go around randomly using their X-ray vision on other guys! The two of them sound shocked in their thought balloons to find any clothing on their victims at all, let alone uniforms! Perhaps this eludes to the real reason that poor Lana was ignored all these years by Clark!

Great issue.
I got one at a convention several years ago for a great price. Plus Curt Swan happened to be there, so I got it autographed.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.
