Bah, I'm sure I'll enjoy the suit that I bought instead of coming to San Diego much more than any old Comic-Con.

It's made of the softest wool ever, We're talking Cobie grade sheep action. Plus its made in Italy by some guy who's name I can't even pronounce. So I'm sure its worth it.

Graceland on the other hand, no sales girl could ever convince me a suit is superior that a trip to Elvis'.

We're still at the airport waiting for our best friend to get in. Her flight has been delayed for an hour. After she lands we're off to get our tattoos. Great shop a block and a half from our condo. The artist squeezed us in for today. Seems half of the 125k geeks in attendance are getting tattooed and all the shops are booked out.

Don't know if we'll make it over today but definitely tomorrow. Stacey will be with me instead of Caroline, who's knee is still in recovery. She's been so awesome putting up with this trip as it is.

Expect pics of the Legion panel tomorrow and any gatherings I can get. Also pics of my Legion tat as well the process later today.

Pics of the tattoo in process are going up as I sit in the chair. Better pics and pics of Caroline's to be posted later.

I'm so happy to have met so many LWers today! It was lots of fun... I'd go hunt down some SDCC exclusive toy (Santa Bender!), then return to the mezz to see who else was there. I think everyone is out having dinner together, but I failed to join, returned to the hotel early due to sheer tiredness. Hopefully I'll meet more tomorrow!

Have you guys seen STU yet? I expect he'll be wearing his Underdog outfit.

I just left most of the gang whooping it up on a hotel rooftop, too sleepy to continue. Cobie should finish his hit list tomorrow by 4 p.m. - then what, I shudder to think.

Semi, why aren't you here? Bring the dogs, I'll dog sit.

We miss everyone who couldn't make it to S-D. Of course, we are having a lot of fun gossiping about you....

Nancy, if I were there with the dogs, I'd hire a dog sitter and not miss the opportunity to take you to a fabulous dinner.

As for why I'm not there ... I'm working and my free time is spent at dog shows now. I've got 4 dogs, 3 of whom are being shown. (I know it sounds like "Best in Show" and to tell the truth, ... I'm no Parker Posey! )

For anyone who hasn't heard yet...there will be a group photos for all Legion Fans at the Legion World table Saturday morning at 10ish.

We went for shots after you left - me, Cobie, CJ, Cali, and sorry dude I forgot your name. Stupid bars start to close down at 1:30, and we found one place that sold shots up until 2. So we stayed until 2.

luckily Cobie doesn't know the way to Tijuana or you'd all be MIA for the rest of the weekend (at a minimum).

Thanks to Gigglebot Girl, Abin Quank and everyone else who helped clean up the terrace last night.

STU is sitting right next to me, Lardy. He exists, but he has no face--kinda like Mano. He was on our roof last night too.

Alas monkey eater lad had to skedaddled outta there for a highschool reunion. It was great seeing you guys again meeting you new folks. Photos (composited) to come !

Well, due to some pretty unfortunate circumstances, I had to leave this morning as soon as possible, so I was only at the con for about 36 hours after traveling across the entire country and spending a good amount of $ to do so. But it was still so worth it just to meet everyone again or for the first time.

CJ, thanks a ton for all your help man on getting me out of there. I shall be returning your signed Kirman Invincible TPB via mail. (Unless this was just your excuse to stand in line and have him sign another one you sly dog ).

Cali, what happened in the room with CJ and me last night will be forever me secret.

And Scott and Caroline--I'm so sorry I never got to meet you guys face to face . We will soon, I promise! Somehow, some place.

Its been a pretty rough day for me, involving long flights and waits and even a quick 'crying alone in the corner at the airport trying not to be noticed' sequence, but I'm home and things are okay. Rather than get into any of that, I'm spending this last ten minutes thinking about all the fun I had yesterday and last night.

I can't wait to see the photos, especially the ones Abin took of me with Princess Leia, Psylocke, Plastic Girl, and various other young ladies. And the cool one MEL took of me and Marvel Girl!

Also, since I don't see it mentioned anywhere on the site here, 19 of us had a little rooftop pizza party last night which was just incredible. I got to talk to old friends like Darden and Rob and Stu and meet people I never have before like Director Lad and Seymour and Rocky, and it was just so cool.

Then about 14 or so of us went to this cool 'dueling pianos' bar and had a pretty fun/crazy night! By about midnight we were down to about 8 and starting doing mind-eraser shots and getting crazy. Stuey--I knew you were pretty buzzed! So were so many other people!

Then at 1:30, CJ, Cali, Michael Grabois, Actor and me searched all over for another place that was open and found one that was only doing shots--so of course I had 'em line up the patron gold tequilla! After slamming those down I was definitely feeling it. What a great night. I think I had about 6 hours sleep total for the two nights I was there.
