News in my neck of the woods is that I just recently got a job at a local movie theatre. I started on Friday, it's going fairly well so far. Also I'm thinking about trying out for some productions of "Children of a Lesser God" and "The Shape of Things".

That sounds like a cool job! Does this mean you get to see all kinds of free movies?
When I was younger I used to think working in a movie theater or record store would be the coolest job ever.

They have "preview nights" for employees every once in awhile and you can also earn passes for free admission for you and a guest as well. That TCM thread I posted was after going to my 1st one. I could of gone to see The Grudge 2 last night but it was in our companion theatre in the valley and I didn't have a ride. Which would of been a problem since we run those showings after the theatres closed for normal business ie after the bus has already stopped running.

More new news on the front here. I just got back from my 1st of three dance classes to prep for auditioning for "West Side Story" next Thursday. It was kind of embarassing since I was the only guy in the class. On the plus side they expected the low guy turnout so they're offering a few scholarships so it's natch that I get one. That saves me $45 dollars so I'm glad about that.

Whoa, it's been awhile since I posted here. I'm currently trying to save up to go to the Vancouver Film School. It sounds like an awesome place that would be perfect for me.
