Doctor Mayavale Reservist Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 237	I spent this afternoon tending to some special plants in my private greenhouse, and I got to thinking about all of the various plant life we've seen in the various incarnations of the Legion. One of my favorites was the Venusian Octopus Vine! Which ones do YOU remember? I LIKE IKE!!

Theory: the Plant Men that the Subs battled in their first appearance in Adventure Comics #306 (3/63) were the same race as the Tree-Men from Arbro seen in Action Comics #287 (4/62). The Tree Men needed help because their suns rays had become too weak to create chlorophyll. And while the Plant Men came from an unnamed world, and attacked Earth for unknown reasons, their world was depicted in darkness and shadows.
