I'll have a huge, oven-baked apple pancake smothered in cinnamon caramel and dusted with powdered sugar. Then, a nap. Then, I'll think about what I want for lunch...

Cramey, I know the Cafe can put on a better spread than the Boston Brunch, so I think I'll start the morning with a three-egg everything omlette, wheat toast, sausage, bacon, french toast, hash browns, orange juice, and coffee.

Oh and strawberry covered waffles for desert

Not to dis Cramers Cafe, but they don't serve their fully roasted hand carved turkey until noon.

Since its breakfast time here in Aus, FC, could you whip me up some toast, eggs (Sunny-side up), bacon, sausage, tomatoes and a tall glass of fresh squeezed OJ?

I'll just get some more tea and dip into the stash of breakfast breads.

We have standards of dining etiquette to maintain. However, if you care to come into the kitchen, I could offer you a sneak preview tasting.

Maybe I'll just set up a 24-hour perpetual, self-renewing buffet. Should be easy to do with a combination of nanotechnology and Terry Pratchett novels.

Could you get your hands on a replicator or some other cool gadget that can "do the cooking" while you aren't around, Nancy? wink

Yes. I call that cool gadget a "husband". The term may vary from place to place, however.

In my household that term has a very different meaning.

A door opens, Hrun walks in slowly and places his axe in the stand normally reserved for umbrellas etc by the door. Nodding to the guests having brunch, he walks across to Cramer.

"My sweet Lady, we have had many a rollocking time in the past but now battle looms and many may not return. I have consulted the augaries and they are,....well unclear. I have come to.... I have come to make my farewells to thee and this noble house. At the end of this Crisis I shall hope to see you again. But should I fall in battle think not ill of me, but take this gift and oft and anon wear it in remembrance of me”

Hrun places an exquisite Emerald and Ruby necklace around Cramers neck. Then gently picks her up in his huge bear like arms and kisses her once softly on the forehead.

Turning Hrun leaves.

“Wait” says Abin, rushing to the door “you forgot your axe” But it was too late Hrun had vanished into the mists…..

Here's your hot chocolate LAM, but I hope you don't mind the tears that fell in it as I watched the noble barbarian depart, perhaps never to return. :sniff: As if emeralds and rubies could replace him... choke

Well, emeralds and rubies may not replace Hrun, but they'll sure pay for the damage that seems to always accompany him.

I'm sure that the very sight of those emeralds and rubies will remind you at once of Hrun's absence and of how meaningless such baubles are next to the nobility of one such as Hrun.

Let me alleviate that terrible strain... I can take those horrible trinkets and sell them on eB-- er, donate them to a home for wayward barbarian children...

Nobility???? Hrun was a nice guy if you could get past excess testosterone, the wanton disregard for private property, and the mead breath, but nobility??? STU --- you've b een away too long.
