No salad on the walls. Maybe that's just part of dedman's mural.

Perhaps the dimensional barriers are breaking down, and Miner is seeing into some other Café where there is indeed salad on the walls. If there's salad on the walls, you wonder what they put on their plates...
This could get messy - and calls for hot cinnamon rolls.

Sure, I'll have some cinammon rolls. It's easy to shed the pounds when you can just shave off a bit of iron!

One thermos of strong and a bacon butty will be teleported to your desk pronto!
Now to get back to setting up those enchanted candles...

What IS a "bacon butty," anyway? I keep seeing the bone-idle Onslow asking for one from his comically frustrated wife Daisy, on "Keeping Up Appearances," and it makes me crave one.
Especially when I'm bone-idle enough to let McDonald's do the cooking. Is it similar to a Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Biscuit? ... Over in the USA, "biscuits" use a baked, light, and flaky bread, and are not sweet baked confections, which we call "cookies."
... Oh, to heckwiddit. Give me a double latte with quadruple cream, please, FC, and I'll forget again about how we're "divided by a common language"!

Grey a bacon butty is really just a another term for a bacon sandwich. although here in the North East we tend to use "stottie cakes" rather than sliced bread. Now before you ask me what a stottie is, it's not that exotic, just a dialect name for a large (and we are taking between 6 and 12 inch diameter) white soft bread bun. Of course a bacon buttie here is just a light snack. A few stalls and shops offer the full English breakfast in a stottie, that is bacon sausages, eggs, mushrooms, onions, black pudding and baked beans. Yum Yum, but oh my poor full tum tum

One double quadruple coming up for Greybird - fortunately that cream (and the bacon butty) have no artery-clogging effect if consumed within the confines of Legion World.
For dedman, a shot of Screech in his coffee.

I didn't miss the cinnamon rolls did I? And one of those bacon things sounds good. I think I must be hungry.

I just ate a bagel, and I totally dropped it like it's hot.
Man, will I ever get over that song.

Cafe Cramer was on the bottom of page 3!!! That's just plain heresy folks.
Back to business .... ah, the aroma of Fat Cramer's famous short-bread cookies - full of butter and fresh from the oven. My favorite holiday aroma.

All quiet on the Café front. There's an extra pot of extra-strong for any people suffering from holiday parties. Also a few ice bags in the freezer, just help yourself. Pluberry Buckwheat Pancakes on the griddle, if you're hungry.

One big bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup to go.
I am getting sick. All my colds have been following this pattern for the last couple of years. Sore throat (which goes away), body aches, then stuffy head and nose. Sore throat is going away, now the body aches are hitting.

Poor Quis! Have some Vitamin-C enriched coffee and sit close to the fire. You deserve a day off work.
