That makes Nura almost like another famous prophetess ~ Cassandra.
She's in the tale about Troy and then in 'Agamemnon'.
She could see but was cursed to have none of her prophecies believed.
Brainy's always put her in that place.
Frankly, I've wondered eversince Nura appeared in Querl's mind how she was retaining her powers.
Aren't most metahumans abilites connected to their bodies/brains.
The powers are genetic and a product of their physical being, aren't they?
I suspect that if she gets a body back, she'll get the powers back or decide that someone without eyes probably shouldn't be able to see anyway unless she merges with Brainy and uses his eyes.
Or she's just a ghost, and can see without real eyes, in-which-case, she can't be perminantly blinded, right?
So, either she never could really see, except through Querl or somehow Tinya and Dream Boy or . . .
Good thing it's a comic, I guess.
