Ooh, looks like I'm the first to post a sketch from San Diego. I didn't commission any Legionnaires this year, but here's my Francis Lightning Lad. Thanks, Francis! He's awesome! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.minbari.net/eric/legion/LightningLadsketchFJM.jpg)

Francis and Agnes stopped by to say hello and Francis very generously offered to do sketches for us. This is Shadow Lass: ![[Linked Image]](http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/2218/fjmshadybb4.jpg) And our very own Monkey-Eater Lad took time off from his Chimpanzee Pizza to immortalize me. The Louvre will never get this - they must be satisfied with the Mona Lisa! ![[Linked Image]](http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/7236/melcramer2mk4.jpg)

Ladapul (Francis Manapul's chosen Legion name ) drew this pic of Cos for me at our table. I'd wondered what his Cos would look like! And here's Monkey-Eater Lad's rendition of Rockhopper Lad--or, as I called him, Lad-Eater Penguin!

I should have asked Monkey_eater Lad to do a sketch of me. That would have been hella cool.

He came by on Sunday afternoon. He told me he was disappointed that he hasn't really had the chance to draw Cos, so he was very glad to oblige.

Gee I wish he had been there Friday or Saturday! I would have had him draw Dream Girl. I didn't go Sunday....Francis was the one person I wanted to meet at San Diego and I didn't get to meet him.

Welcome Producing Lad! Hey were you the guy that was in line with me at the DC Booth Saturday waiting for a sketch by the current Action Comics artist?
Kevin, I am totally jealous of the Tiny Titans pieces, I wish I had visited their booth to get those!

yes RTVU2, that was me, I'm glad I jumped out of line, gave me another chance to talk to Matt Wagner about Grendel.
I think Nauck would be great back on the Legion. His art is cute but more serious then the Moy stuff.

Hello all, I've been ccllecting Legion sketches for many years. I've gotten sketches from artists ranging from Sergio Aragones, Frank Cho, Mike Grell, Phil Foglio, Adam Hughes, Dan Jurgens, Scott Kurtz, Greg Land, Marshall Rogers, Michael Turner, Jim Lee, Joe Staton -- 106 sketches in all. The sketchbook has been my pride and joy at conventions. It's now been all filled up, so I've scanned them all in and put them on a website. The web address is http://dirtboy11.googlepages.com/ Feel free to check it out. Let me know what you think (preferably by email -- dirt-boy-lsh@charter.net)
