Hasn't anyone else noticed that this solicit doesn't match this cover? Yet it seems to match the cover for the September issue (see below) and the September solicit seems more appropriate for this month's cover, since it referes to Winath. confused

You are right, Vee. I don't know what to make of it. Has the sloppy editing migrated to the
solicits?

Yeah I noticed that right goo. Remains how Bedard is going to structure the issues. SOunds like he's going to have individual issues focus on a particular sub-team with them all meeting up in the finale as opposed to cutting between scenes.

Here's hoping we won't have to rip off and switch the covers to the two issues to make 'em match the contents tease wink

E.R.G 1 is now a walking H bomb on Lallor?

Well is Lallor is still a world almost destroyed by war that makes sense.

But

How does that tie in with Wildfire from LL Saga having the red tornadoes body?

Ideally, it doesn't.

Wow, the S&LSH and JSA covers couldn't be further apart stylistically but they're both great. The Action one is pretty nice, too.

I'm totally amped for Dennis' run... he reminds me a bit of Jae Lee, an artist I've always wanted to see do a take on LSH. Looks like I'll be adding ACTION to my pull... for an arc at least. SO much LSH stuff happening...!

Yes I concur: as long as there is "classic Legion alarm" in Action comics, I will be buying it. It was hard enough to get the back issues of JSA, still don't have all of the JLA Karate Kid storyline. I'm glad they don't make it a secret again.

Question:
in what issue did the Lightning Saga begin?
and how long was Starman and Karate Kid in the 20th before the JSA / JLA found them?

You know, that just brought up something for me.

Pre-Crisis, when Darkseid sent lil' Validus back in the past to become Big Val, how far back in time did he send him?

There's a preview up at Newsarama of Supergirl v5 #22. Finally, a glimpse of our friends in her title! Maybe an explanation will finally follow? (Yeah, right, watch me hold my breath. Though, Bedard is writing both at the moment... and there is a title change coming, I think. Hmm...)

Does anyone think that the 4th Kryptonian will be the LS version of Supergirl?

With all the recent story-line juggling going on at DC, it looks like we have a new October book for Legion AR collectors, coming out next week.

Superman #668

Written by Kurt Busiek
Art by Rick Leonardi and Dan Green
Cover by Renato Guedes and Wilson Magalhaes

The new 3-part story "The Third Kryptonian" gets under way. A year ago, Superman learned of another Kryptonian on Earth. Now the hunt goes into overdrive, as the Metropolis Marvel and the Dark Knight Detective's search takes them from China to Gotham City to California and more. Plus, important developments for Superman's foster-son Chris Kent, who also gets to meet Robin the Boy Wonder!

Superman | 32pg. | Color | $2.99 US

On Sale October 10, 2007

Cover looks cool, can't say the same for the interior art or the story but that's just based on the few pages Newsarama has up for preview.

Oops, sorry I meant the third kryptonian. I think it's going to be the LS version of Supergirl. I hope so. But then I hope she gets a new look!

Perhaps the third kryptonian is Laurel Kent.

I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman.
But they won't.

It wasn't bad, some pretty cute stuff with Batman and Robin. They hinted at who the 3rd Krpytonian is. Judging from the hints and the whited out silohette on the next cover, people who guessed a re-imagined Bronze Age character are correct.
