Dev-Em Time Trapper Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 12,336 Turn around...	Tomorrow is the day I take Hannah to her first Comic Convention. She'll get to meet Starlin and Nester of Legion fame past. She is soo geeked to go, and I'm glad to have her interested and wanting to go. Purchases and freebies are to be had (blood drive will fetch free comics for me and her, although I am the only one giving blood.)...will report back later tomorrow night. Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

Dev-Em Time Trapper Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 12,336 Turn around...	She had a blast today. She picked up some figures (Kitty Pryde, Ms. Marvel and Mary Jane) from the Marvel Universe 3 3/4" series. Plus a few comics. She snaged a Legion of Super Heroes #300 while I was collecting my free comics for donating blood. I had to explain the premise of the issue, but she loves it. I grabbed a bunch of Unc. X-Men comics for the free comics (148 - 180, with 6 missing issues. Pretty good run nonetheless. Also snagged the DC Universe Blue Devil figure. Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

I went to my first con last week, and I'm 28 years old, and walked around with the goofiest grin on my face. And good on you for introducing your daughter to the wonderful world of comics! I might live on the butt end of the world, but I get to see the days before anyone else.... mwaahahahahahaha (I'm no good at evil laughing)

"A little one story building with a couple tables with kids comics, a couple tables with comics for you, and some toys." "Was this better?" "Yep. Now I gotta get Kitty Pryde off of her card."
