Stu, the mansion is great!!! We can hold strategy and tactics meetings here in the Octagonal Office, and when done press a button and change the room into the Playstation/Gamecube/X-Box Palace, complete with Bose sound systems and Plasma TV's!!! I may never leave! Of course, I'll have to keep tabs on the important political work being done in Kid Prime\'s Political Think-Tank Room too!

So, the innaugeral ball will be held here! Great! I'll make sure Security isn't an issue, and the rest of you just have a great time!
It'll start here (and go on until Sunday), and then it'll spill over into the Starfield Lounge and SHAKES for the after-parites (with a special hang-over special at Cafe Cramer soon after)!
Everyone get ready, it begins pretty soon! Who is your date? What are you wearing? This security chief is still looking for a date, any takers?

Empress, we're going to need your remodelling powers if the Starfield Room joint venture materializes. Rest your eye, it's going to be a big job.

The Redwood RoomThis cozy room is tucked away around the corner from STU's office, and appears to serve primarily as a private bar for entertaining small gatherings of friends. The long bar is made of varnished redwood, and fitted with a brass rail that runs its length. Arrangements of plush divans and a few chaises longues form clusters conducive to collegial conversation. A large picture window affords a lovely view of the redwood grove that enfolds the mansion's library and art gallery -- and which gives this room its name. Sitting on the bar is a thick book of signature drink recipes from SHAKES . You peruse the pages: BLAINE BLASTER - 180 proof alcohol, a shot of gin, a swirl of mint schnaps topped with just a sprig of mint (cherry optional). [Mattropolis, f.k.a. Danny Blaine]
ARACHNETINI - Grey Goose Vodka, opal nera, and a spritz of seltzer. [Arachne]
VAVAVAVEE - Dark, dark rum, a splash of mango, papaya, and guava nectar, lightened with a spritz of soda. [Vee, a.k.a. Varalent]
BLOODY BLOKE - A Bloody Mary made with single malt scotch, a shot of beef bouillon, and a dash of horseradish in the tomato juice. [Sonnie Bloke]
RED RANGER - Johnny Walker Black, red vermouth (Noilly Pratt, preferably) shaken 100 times and topped with a cherry. [Space Ranger]
SWEET CAROLINE - Rum, grenadine, orange juice, vodka, and papaya -- all layered. Garnish with a sprig of witch-hazel. [Saturn Girl]
THE FELLOWS MARTINI - Hendricks gin, a whisper of Noilly Pratt dry vermouth, shaken one hundred times (no more, no less) in a stainless steel shaker, garnished with a slice of cucumber (sliver of celery optional). [Semi Transparent Fellow]
ROUND-UP - A hefty shot of sour mash whiskey, a hefty shot of beef boullion, and a dash of tabasco. [Raging Bull]
THE FEARLESS LEADER - A strong shot of a mixable gin (like Sapphire or Beefeater), a smaller shot of Campari, a dash of Rose's Lime, and a spray of seltzer; shake one hundred times, and garnish with a slice of orange. [STU]
COBALT CRUSH - Bombay Gin, Meyer's White Planter's Punch Rum, Grapefruit Juice, and Blue Curacao. [Cobalt Kid]
FROZEN VOLCANO - Two frozen blended drinks poured together to look like lava. First is white rum based: shot of white rum and sweet and sour, blend with ice. Second is tequila based: shot of tequila, grenadine, sweet and sour, blend with ice. Pour both frozen drinks carefully into a margarita glass in swirls so that the white and red remain separate. [Icefire]
BOLT - A jigger of Jolt Cola, Meyer's white plantation rum, a dash of bitters, and a shot of Pernod. [Lightning Lad]
CHEESE BREEZE - Essence of cheddar mixed with a fine stout. [Rody the Super-Rat]
THE BARD'S REVENGE - One ounce gin, two ounces Pim's, a splash of tonic water, and Rose's Lime to taste. Serve this baby in a tall skinny glass over ice. [Kent Shakespeare]
(Each drink recipe and name is an STF Inc. original, and copyrighted as such.)

Hmm! It appears my office isn't quite ready yet so I'll have to set up shop in the Redwood room for the time being! Ahhh! The life of a Chief of Staff is so trying some times!
