We're still great friends and he was a Groomsmen in my wedding (his longtime g/f was a bridesmaid for my wife).

She didn't have many good things to say about the History department there. She basically described it as a bunch of old white guys in love with traditionalism and white Yankee (not the baseball team) regional mythology. The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

When I was there, a lot of those guys were still there, but it was changing quite a bit. There were a few Professors that you could tell didn't want to teach undergrad courses. I find those kind of Professors to be a bit douchy.

I would totally do it in a heartbeat. I'm going to be the Best Man at my brother's wedding this summer and then a Groomsmen in another wedding later in the summer.
