Triplicate Girl's issue where it showed a version of the original Legion's founding made me think. How many of the original Silver Age Legion's adventures do you think have happened in some form in this universe?

They'd have to have already had the adventure where they were arrested by a Science policemen. Remember all three founders were present for a ceremony where they honored a cop for stopping them while they were preventing a theft of some kind of power crystal on their "first" case?

My general assumption is going to be that unless directly contradicted, all of the Legion's adventures up to Lyle joining happened in SOME fashion.

It gives me a happy.

Obviously Jo Nah has already been swallowed by the space-whale/ultra energy beast, the Ranzz siblings have been to Korbal and Thom sideswiped a comet.
I wonder if Garth has been dead once already?

If so, that means we're already seeing PROTY GARTH!

(I actually want to see Waid tackle something like that)

On a related note, its entirely possible there *IS* Mon'el here and we're just not seeing him because like the Princess and other company, they're just doing their own thang.

On another related note, how much time do you think has elapsed since Issue #1? A week (busy week!)? A month?

Uh... didn't Lyle join originally in the Legion's fourth appearance or something like that?

So, you've got the adventure where Superboy joins, the adventure where they imprison Superboy for future crimes, and the one where Lana Lang dates Star Boy?

I admit, its not exactly an overwhelmingly confirmed number sadly.

On the other hand, given so many OTHER legionaires joined. It's entirely possible other adventures happened that have been 're-arranged' in timelines as well.

There seems to be the idea that this team is very established.

We might for instance know that Brin Londo's 'android troubles' have happened along with all of his dating stories.

It's a bit muddled-- the team does seem like it's supposed to be very established, yet they don't know each other's names or powers, etc. Maybe that's just the reality of the 70 thousand plus numbers for legion movement members... but it certainly *reads* like the more traditional 20ish members have been set for some time. Isolationist reticence even in those desiring change enough to effect it? Maybe.

There's something missing we don't know about yet, I think.

My general guess is that the original core team knows everyone very well and its' entirely possible that they've seen each other around but not necessarily have met personally in a professional manner.

"Hi Jo!"
"Not jo, ULTRABOY!"
"Oh nifty."
