MEL, I'm DYING to see the Storm Shadow outfit! If I was ever at a party you were at with that on, I'd be one of those guys coming up to you every hour or so and going "DUDE! That costume if fuckin awesome!" And a Cobie/Eliza team-up is always pleasing for this young lad

The girlfriend of the guy who's gonna be Storm Shadow agreed to be Baroness! Awesome! Now if we can just get past the dinner (at a nice restaurant, don't ask) dressed fully in our costumes, I think Cobra shall finally defeat those G.I. Jokers!

Watashi no namae wa Monkey Eater Lad desu! Hey so I'm headed to Tokyo tomorrow (to fight Mothra, hang out with Astro Boy, grab some hamachi and sake with Ultraman) but just wanted to check in and say ohayo gozaimasu. Here's an old doodle I picked up from scott Mills: And here's my lastest blog entry, on Spider-Ham and SPAM: http://www.comics2film.com/b/index.php?blog=6 sayonara!

I haven't been keeping up the all-monkey action but here's a series of pics from Tokyo. PART 1: First up, a woman had an ACTUAL monkey here in this toy store. I'd have offered to eat it, but I didn't know the Japanese word for monkey... I loved the illuminated nights. This was an smallish street near a big street. Crazy bright! These cosplayers were being mobbed like celebrities but I dunno who they were...

Cosplayers are anime/manga fans that do the whole costume thing.
I don't know who they're supposed to be either.

More MegaTokyo-a-go-go! This neat market by Tokyo's largest shrine: This is the street scene in Akihabara, the technology/video game/manga/teenage neighborhood: Me in the Fish Market which didn't have that much fish cause we went late: Really cool melon soda. I liked the contrast of red and green:
