get it on...get on it?? MEL you're so bossy.

but you are right i need some action.

unfortuantley my nose is to the grind (or something) its finals week!!! and the one good thing about finals week is...no classes.

my friends all went to coachella without me (its a concert in the desert)

and my laptop has a snag in the power chord. seems like a bad thing.

i will probably rent movies to have on while i do homework.

dang, finals already? april just ended! my cousing almost went to coachella. i always want to go but am always scared of like breaking down in the desert somewhere with no gas, no water, and just like, a car fulla indie rawk, emo punk guys.

that sounds like the begining of half the horror movies i've seen lately.

well...my friend said he couldn't hear cat power because they were in the tent next to the dance tent. (who was resposible for that?)

i assume that's the way it went for antony and the johnsons. and that i wouldn't have been able to see madonna in the dance tent.

so the way i reason i just missed the yeah yeah yeahs and depeche mode. (my friends left before depeche mode to beat the crowd out...cause it can take forever.)

inland invasion (earlier this year) was super cool.
i saw beck weezer oasis the bravery kasabian garbage (for the third time) cake bloc party

...and some others i am forgetting. (311 or 411? and some new band that sounds like AC DC)

there was a fire at one point people were moshing around. tee hee. and i got a sunburn and several 5 $ waters.

another thing:

i am trying to plan a trip this summer to spend the last of my student loans. (or some... i'm not completely spend thrift)

i am thinking of going through central and south america. for three months or until i run outta cash. i think i will get farther through there than asia or europe.

anyone got any suggestions? been there before? places to skip?

i am thinking mexico city (maybe tulum and puerto vallarta) belize (my friends honeymooned there and it looks gorgeous.) costa rica (always wanted to go) peru (the incan trail..maybe lima) brazil (rio and hopefully teh amazon ...always wanted to go) argentina (buneos aires..heard good things) and maybe chile.

i figure travel when you can!!

That sounds awesome DB! Definately travel when you can...

I've never been to South America, so I don't really have any suggestions, but I definately think you should go--it sounds like it'd be a great time. And 3 months? Hella-kewl!

you should go to Thailand or Vietnam. American dollars go far there. My parents went to Vietnam and they spent more money on plane tickets then there entire month vactioning in Vietnam-this is staying in the 4 star hotels, going out to eat every meal and having at least 5 to 20 people with them, taking a week long cruise on some river, helping my mom's cousin open a resturant, and my parents bringing back tons of Vietnames artwork and teapots.

you would like it there DB. tease

i was considering thailand, vietnam, cambodia, etc. but i've been to thailand....and i've been to asia the last two outta three trips i've taken.

and i've never been to latin america...and i'm going alone so my minor spanish may be more handy than my english is in asia. also i might fit in a bit easier.
