Watching the stupid stock market.
I have never really paid that close attention to my investments... just plopped some money every cycle into my 401K and IRAs and let it go for the long haul. Well... I don't know if it's turning 40 but - over the past few months - for some reason I've become fascinated by the daily market fluctuations.
On the one hand, I suppose it's good to get more educated about finance but... on the other... mild grade OCD and watching stacks of numbers that update every second are a deadly combination for my productivity.

^ that *is* deadly, considering your usual eagerness to organize, refine, work on and analyze! What I mean, of course, is that when you invest, it's best not to "tinker" too much--once the decision is made, stick it out and see what happens.
Of course, as Ex knows, I play the stock market regularly. My current mantra is "dividends, dividends, dividends" simce I'm already heavily invested in stocks since the market low in 2008.
I do think the market will continue to rise across the board until 2017-19.
