As for my overindulgence du jour, aside from the usual, it's tomatoes. Homegrown, organic tomatoes sliced up with sea salt. I can't get enough of them. I eat them every night with dinner. I really love the yellow ones.
I also am loving goat cheese these days.

Yeah, I couldn't escape learning what "twerk" meant either. I blame Ray Donovan for that. Which segues to my overindulgence du jour, using Xfinity, Netflix and Hulu to watch over a dozen different shows. (Orphan Black, Suits, Grimm, Teen Wolf, Arrow, Being Human, Being Human UK, White Collar, Covert Affairs, Burn Notice, Hemlock Grove, Hannibal, Banshee, Game of Thrones, True Blood, The Glades, etc. etc.) I was never a huge fan of TV, but now I'm watching *way* too much. Even watched (and liked!) an episode of Face Off this week, and I promised myself to never watch reality TV again after getting sucked into the first couple of seasons of The Real World back in college (decades ago...).

Right now most of my time is spent keeping up on the local news, which annoys and angers people all over the country constantly.
Thankfully, it does keep me from getting hooked on TV shows (that list above has a lot of good ones which would no doubt keep me awake at night) and from getting drowned in celebrity news.

Homemade BBQ sauce. The recipe I used on Labor Day made two big jars, totally justifying the amount of work involved. The sauce only gets better when it sits in the fridge, so tonight I'll pick up some thin-cut chops at the market and use it yet again. (Last week it was BBQ chicken, Labor Day it was BBQ baby back ribs.)
I think I craft a respectable BBQ sauce for a White person from NJ.
