They're opening an Aldi's about 20 miles from me. The gas I'd use to get there would more then offset any savings.

We used to have a discount mart up the street called 3 Boys Grocery. I was tempted on occasion to pop in and ask if they had any Carggian food.

We need to have a version of Zipcar that offers pack mules for rent instead of cars.

sigh

With all the money we'd be saving from not driving cars, maybe we could afford to hire mule handlers.

The Zipmule agency provides a handy bucket, scoop, and protective gloves, free of charge. And they'll helpfully compost the mule's "output" when you return everything to the shop.

What kind of questions does one ask of potential mule handlers? shrug

my uncle has a very sweet mule ... that acts like a friendly dog ... he follows you around and tries to get you to pet him.

Wow! This thread is so educational! We've learned:

Peebs has an uncle with an affectionate mule.

He Who is a sparkly vampire.

Kent liked a '70s kids' show called Vegetable Soup.

Ragey does not like the current overuse of the word "artisan".

Fanfie made a great reference that no one picked up on to the 1938 cartoon "Porky in Wackyland".

And that just scratches the surface!

Well, it's pretty common for teachers to have more than one job, isn't it?

If you're an alt of Anita Cocktail, doesn't that make you an alt of an alt?

Would Alt's alt alternate with another alt to alter alternative views of alts?

Sorry, but I cannot allow this thread to die just because people keep confusing it with an entirely different thread.
