Is it just me or has TPTB deleted all of the Legion World related threads?

I can't find them!

I'm going to put a honkin'-ass HUGE link in my sig and make ON-TOPIC posts all over the DCMB's. At least in the Legion and ODCUT areas...

I just bamfed up my three main threads over there with the link to the main page in my signature.

The last one is my original Legion World post that fell so far down that I believe they missed deleting it.

I'm tempted to re-post Dave's reaction to Nightscrawler's site crash over here. Only I'd substitute Legion World for Nightscrawlers and DC for Marvel.

But, I'm a founder and should behave myself.

But I'm not. And I'm not exactly known for behaving myself, especially where things like that are concerned.

I've already amused myself by replying to your thread with a clever post ambiguous in its reference to the comic or the site!

I guess DC can't stand the competition. Don't they realize there is no competition here? They can't hold a candle to Legion World!

I was hopeful our recent appearance at the DCMB (shudder) would help bring over some fresh new Legion World Academy members. Gotta get over that #247 member mark, eh?

I can't believe how ....what's the word? short-sighted? fearful? petty? they are to have deleted reference to this - or any other - message board which supports and fosters Legion fandom.
Don't you think participation in this site could encourage sales of Legion-related stuff, if not the comic itself? Not to mention other DC books ... and possibly maintained some faltering readership, or brought people back to the book because we've been enthusing about it?
This site is free publicity for DC's Legion - they should smarten up and fix their boards to mirror this one, not pretend this one doesn't exist. You really wonder who is making those decisions and what's in their head(s).

Who's making those decisions? Rob Kamphausen. He doesn't have to be that vigilant, or that quick, even if he's propelled by DC management policy -- and if the past is any guide, he has considerable discretion in what he does and when.

And what's in Rob's head? Judging by the fiasco at his own message boards -- where he showed his simpering cowardice about his hooligan vandal friends -- nothing of consequence whatsoever.

Yes, it's stupid and shortsighted to delete such references. Since when does DC care about any vocal fandom for The Legion, though, other than in keeping up just enough monthly sales to preserve its claims to its trademarks?

Off-topic? But Teeds I tried to bring at least some of them on topic. By adding Legion comic stuff to them. I could understand one or two of them gone but not all but the very first post I made that had fallen down to page 6.

And isn't this Legion World? How more on-topic can one be?

I am now rather curious as to what was said.

It takes something like this to get me to visit the DC boards (ugh!) However I just went over and had some fun myself working LEGION WORLD into a few threads.

That's not at issue. (Why do so many -- not necessarily OM -- assume that disputing the soundness of how someone acts means that his or her right to act that way is called into question? Or that one has no right to criticize him or her for it? It doesn't.)

The way he "runs" them -- or, more precisely, doesn't -- is a brain-dead acquiescence to his "friends." Just as much as would be his owning a car and letting all comers break the windows and dump whatever garbage they want into it. It's his to allow to be trashed. Pretty soon, though, it becomes useless for its intended purpose -- transportation. Or, in the RKMBs' case, discussion.

I seemed to have missed the whole problem with Rob's boards. My connection at the time was too slow and reading or posting there became too tedious. What happened?
