...spent most of the day selling lottery tix to idiots.

... and the wife are actually going to take it easy at home. Nice and relaxing.

...will be singing in the choir at a friend's wedding. She is also a member of said choir and in the eight-and-a-half years that I've been a member, hers is only the second wedding at which we have sung.

...am throwing our annual New Years Day get-together.

... had dinner with the family, including Dad who, after being properly chastised by a cardiologist for shoveling snow at his age, is home from the hospital

...had a slow but productive day at work.

... actually have to go in to work today, on my day off. Oh joy.

...was bored as shit at work today because I did all my busy work yesterday.

...took full advantage of my mother's practical nature. I took the Target gift cards she sent me for Christmas to the local store. I got David a new jogging suit to wear to doctor's appointments, got myself some new socks and underwear, an electric tooth brush and stocked up on cleaning supplies.

... have to work again on a Saturday. Oh the joys of working in retail!

"It turned out the monstrous minions was really Old Man Jenkins in a Halloween mask, trying to scare away the local kids from finding the gangster loot buried in the old disco."
