Took my daughter to play practive. Bought Jon a new Toy Story 3 toy. Folded laundry, did another load as well (had a mountain on the couch to go through.) Cooked dinner, emptied and reloaded dishwasher. Put memory foam thingie on my daughters bed. Watched 300 and Resident Evil.

Full day off.

Yeah that unit uses diethylamine to extract H2S from the gas stream.


...did the great fridge purge.

...celebrate the end of hunting season, which means the woods are a bit safer to walk in, with fewer beer cans accumulating along the paths.

...am off, but my wife's gonna make me put up crummy Christmas lights outside in the cold.

... got 4 hours sleep, so I'm going to post for a bit and then it's off to slumber land.

...am listening to Classical music on the radio and drinking a hot toddy. I really should go to sleep soon.

...ordered something called "Seven Stars Around the Moon" from the local Chinese take-out joint. Dee-lish!!

...had someone call and ask to reschedule an interview 15 minutes prior to when it was supposed to begin. Bodes ill, eh?

...at lunch bought some stuff for a "care package"/Christmas present for my brother who was recently laid off. It includes some cool stuff like the book "Gates of Fire", the movie Gettysburg, Metallica's "Ride the Lightning", some scratch off lottery tickets, little nips of Scotch and a cigar. All stuff he likes and used to kind of co-own with me until I took them with me when we stopped living together a few years ago. Kind of like a "care package for a dude" after getting laid off, combined with Christmas.

Lightning is his favorite album (mine is Puppets) from waaaay back, and I realized today when I was thinking of things he loved that I currently am in possession of, he totally needs this right now!

I've misplaced my CDs of Puppets, Lightning, Kill 'em and Justice. Must replace soon...

Not that long ago I went through a revisiting Iron Maiden phase and for the hell of it, threw Kill 'Em All into the mix. I totally forgot how much I loved Kill 'Em All, which is always under-appreciated. Great, great album.

Most underrated song: No Remorse. BADASS opening.
