...reluctantly returned Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster" CD to the library.

..went to Toronto, found out the archives misplaced the requests I filed last week, ran into a mayoral candidate on the street, bought lots of great/cheap cheese in Kensington Market, got to the trains in time for rush hour and had to stand the whole ride, my connecting bus narrowly avoided two accidents... and I relaxed with a pint of Rickard's Red and some good/cheap wings at a local watering hole.

...am feeling a little tired after drinking tequilla last night with Lady Cobalt's best friend from high school and her husband. Not hungover, just tired. The cigar from last night isn't helping.

...fumed about everything.

...hope Quis is feeling better.

... recieved an email coupon from my local supermarket for a dollar off vine-ripened tomatoes.

...realized how much I miss LW when I am not here...

Started the first day of my second year of college.

...probably won't get to the CBS before it closes, but there's always tomorrow.

...quietly seethed while upper management delayed something pretty important.

...got up a 5 a.m., walked dog, played with dog, fed dog, walked dog, and realized this is my life for the forseeable future.

... got an e-mail from someone who - by anyone's definition - is a living legend in Legion history (details to follow in about 3 weeks). The content of this e-mail just upped the stakes of Survivor: New Tartuga immeasurably (hint... hint... if you are thinking of signing up, don't delay... you will absolutely kick yourself if you don't!)

...brought my mom to the comic book store and got her signed up for her own box--all Archie comics.

...am intrigued! Possibly enough that I might sign up for this, what would be my second season....

...un-tied a metaphorical knot.

..started trying to learn Japanese. Again.

... had an enjoyable time at my brother's for acook-out.

...was glad that Quis seems to be feeling better.


...woke from some really weird dreams in the morning, maybe because I drank both rum and bourbon at last night's block party.

...am undecided about pickling more turnips because it's so hot and humid.

...started prepping for Dragon*Con. Kinda.

..pickled the turnips. I love pickled turnips.

...lightened up.

...went to a friend's thesis defense, a big celebratory luncheon afterward, and then to the library.
