...woke up in a bad mood.

...took a short walk for morning coffee and croissant when the rain was light; made it home before it started pouring cats and dogs. Taking care of stuff around the house, and generally feeling like I've moved past my funk of the past 2 weeks.

It is good to be funkless.

...made rhubarb popsicles.

yum!

...made an omelette with Black Olives, Tomatoes and cheese. It was really tasty.

...hit some of the nearby museums. Watched a performance by local electronic duo Bluebrain, who composed some music around recently discovered footage from the 1940 World's Fair. Not bad.

...Watched The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Edition)

LOL That'd be an image makeover for the chain. No, the booster comes from supplements they'll add to the smoothies for you. They do the best smoothies ever! Although, the green tea/vanilla/blueberry wasn't as good as I'd hoped.

... bought a travel book for Australia

...heard there were 5 coyotes sighted yesterday evening - mama and 4 young ones - no wonder the neighbourhood cats are disappearing. And being brought in at night from now on.

Yikes! I can relate. Coyotes are still a problem over where my sister lives. You just can't let your pets run there.

...baked bread. Currently eating a slice of said bread with butter and honey.

slept late for once ... and felt anxious about it ...

...was at the neighborhood pizza joint after a long day, trying to enjoy a beer. Somebody's kid wouldn't stop shrieking, and I finally bellowed, "SHUT UP!"



I probably won't be able to show my face there for a month now, but I honestly don't care.

...heard my job application is being "reviewed by the board."
