...calmed my wife down when she realized how much $$ we'd be spending this summer since we're going to 6 weddings and are in 3 of them (and two are overnight).

...finally found out what was causing my phone line to go out.

Wondering how my friend is doing.

There's a block party going on outside, the one held every year. It took my part of the block four hours longer then they usually do, I think because my parents aren't here.

The sky is gray and gloomy. I don't want to go out, I don't want to do anything today.

... am being really lazy.

...unpacked my bags, cleaned up my room (somewhat), and went down to Ribfest for lunch.

...accidentally stole a soda from the gas station on the way home from Atlantic City. I totally have no idea what I was thinking--I just grabbed a coke and then checked my phone, and when I was done with my phone, I just walked out without paying. Once I was on the road and opened the soda I realized and started to laugh.

It was in New Jersey so knowing those crazy taxes they have, I figure it was complimentary by the citizenry of New Jersey.

... spent the afternoon at the library

...went to the farmer's market. Scored some awesome fresh fruit, plus new potatoes for the grill later on.

...caught up on e-mail and got my comics.

...worked... again...

... did no work at all. On ANYTHING.

...was aghast at Cobalt's callous crime of indifference!

...considered becoming a full time thief. I'll start with gas stations and work my way up to museums. Then at the Grand LMB 15 year meet-up, I'll steal all your swag.

...made a note to bring a taser to the next LW meet-up.

...wondered how many banks a person could rob successfully using a handwritten note that said, "ths iz an sticukp!"

... proudly watched Spain win the World Cup

...begin a week vacation! Lady Cobalt, Cobalt Baby and I are joining my parents and siblings for a week at a cottage in a great beach area in RI. My posting will be down--only will be doing so from my phone!

Great, Cobie comes to town and I'm on the west coast...

I'll just have to console myself by meeting Mr and Mrs cleome, Candle, and whoever else we can round up in the Portland OR area.

Been wake now for about 3 hours and in fine LW tradition am half drunk

...began another attempt to cut back on my soda intake in earnest.

...got some work done at the library, but am procrastinating on this week's homework.
