...have hot and cold running water but like on Braal after the war with Imsk, you don't want to drink it. Other than that we're ok, and my wife will be able to go to work tomorrow since the interstates have resurfaced. My daughter is getting impatient for school to resume but it's closed til Monday at least. Thanks for all the good vibes you all, people down here need it.

Coached my first soccer game (5-yr-olds)
Watched the Duck Dodgers/Green Lantern cartoon with my five-year-old, soccer-playing son.
Both were hilarious.

... tried to reserve a rental car over the telephone in a remote part of Italy with only a halting command of Italian, and the person to whom I was speaking with only a halting command of English. I think we're good, but we shall see if I wind up walking next Monday.

Yeah, I remember only watching the first three or four episodes when it aired, and am now up to about episode #12. It's fantastic! I can't praise it enough--very intelligent, suspenseful, dynamic...everything is about it is great. Comic books could learn a thing or 12 about how to tell a story from Fringe.
