. . . sent good vibes, and a prayer, towards Stealth, cleome and FC (for her racoon war ~ it's hard to keep them out of the garden! You almost have to appease them with something else that they might enjoy more, like maybe, a bowl of dog food and a pan of water. My racoons favored hot dogs.)
. . . sent an incredulous look toward Cobie for saying that racoons are ugly.
. . . got lost in Portland yesterday, while trying to get to Astoria and am awake, now, with a toothache, waiting for the Aleve to kick in. sigh
A singin' and a dancin' along the way.

thought someone sent me good vibes, but Letterman (of Electric Company fame) must have changed the "b" to a "c" and I got to enjoy a long morning in bed watching "The West Wing" reruns while eating raisin bran crunch ... all good vices ...
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...

...took long walk around town, visited the British import store, couldn't find the Mediterranean import store, had some really greasy fish and chips, walked around more, visited two comic shops (only one had Adventure 2), and got tired and headed home.

. . . changed my avatar to an amazing portrait by MLLASH and Nightcrawler! I just wish that I actually looked like her. sigh (But hey, I'm still dancing ~ I'm sending good vibes your way, Sharks! I saw a TV commercial about a new movie, recently. There were 3 guys in the ocean, still close to the beach, with this little shark just zipping around them in a 'circle of life'. lol I thought of you.

...hoped the water, or at least the cable would come back on. No luck thus far though. Still it could be a lot worse, four people have died in the flooding around Atlanta so far.

thanks Cobie and Kent for the well wishes. Things are better tonight. The cables on, and we have a trickle of water running. My wife heated up enough water on the stove to get semi-cleaned and I was able to fill the toilet tanks up. The main thing now is that we're all getting a bit of cabin fever. My wife can't get to her office and school's out til at least Thursday. Still, we are very thankful that we're safe and sound and so are our families. So many people here have been hit much harder than us, it seems ungrateful to gripe about things at all.

Matlock,
Glad to hear things are starting to get back to normal for you. From the drought last year to flooding this year. Hopefully no more rain will come your way until all the flood waters go down.
