Warm sunny and blue skies.
Shame I have to be stuck at work waiting for an important phone call.

#7 should be going on-line shortly (it was actually finished in May but I only just got round to scanning it) but #8 will be a while since I'm working on an 85 page Oddcases story at the moment.
So Darden, have you read any good comics of late?

85 page oddcases story, thats a big one.
I like reading your work B, have to admit I prefer paper in hand rather than just on screen tho.
Apart from Legion I am reading Fables and Jack of Fables at the moment which are brilliant.
I pick up the odd other DC title but even old favorites like Birds of Prey are just so so at the moment.
I am looking freard to seeing Mystery in Space mind you.
And you?

Love Fables too, and Jack of Fables is shaping up nicely. I'm enjoying spotting the fable characters in the background of those issues.
I'm still loving BoP but I fear for Dinah flying the coop which would be a bad thing. If Wolverine can be in a gazillion books at once then Dinah can be in two. The relaunched Wonder Woman is very good as well even if we are going to ahve to deal with it being bimonthly. I hate it when they do that with books, don't you Darden?

I hate it more when books fail to ship on time.
I was reading Albion and it had a gap of May to September between issue 5 and 6. It was not that good either.
Neverwhere from Vertigo was another one and because the shipping dates fell apart i missed getting issue 8. So now the question is do i buy the final issue 9 or just give up.
What would you do Bevis?

Oh I gave up completeloy on Albion. Seemed like a cool idea and all but ti shipped so badly that I think I only got the first two. Unless it's sioemthing that I really want like Planetary then I can't be bothered spending my money on it.
Ooh, nearly home time. Yay! Still rainign though so i'm likely to get wet even with my brolly. Is it still sunny with you?

Clouding over I'm afraid. But its not going to rain
Half an hour to go for me, then I am free for the night yay!
I know what you mean about Albion, great idea/concept but really poor story telling and not my cup of tea in the art department. If i did not have a childhood attachment to these characters i would not have stuck with it, heaven knows how the yanks took it.
Have you seen Battler Brittain. Same idea but much much better read.
