Just bought my ticket!! I'm planning on going all three days, commuting from my parental unit's home (unless I can find somewhere closer to crash but it's not heinously far away). I wasn't sure about it but Brubaker will be there and we all know how I love to fan!stalk creators.  Anyone else planning to go? I'd love to meet up with y'all if you do, since I'm probably going it alone. (I need comic loving friends! *sniffle*) I might get one girlfriend to tag along but it depends on her schedule... so post if you're gonna be in town!

Incidentally, I'm toying with the idea of dressing up as the Golden Age Black Canary. I love Birds of Prey/JLA v4 Dinah much more but I have the pieces (boots, body suit) to work a costume from Back in the Day more easilyt.
I just need fishnets, a blonde wig and jacket to complete the look. Not sure how to work the last one into my budget but the other two? No problem! Only thing is-- it's winter. I don't want to freeze my tail feathers off (so to speak).
Anybody whose dressed up in the past have advice? It is more than welcome...

Eh, he'd probably let her hold it. All would then be well in the Cobalt household. (Or so I've heard.) And I will post pictures! If I get it together in time, that is. Either way, I'm sure there will be pictures of my stalking adventures.

About dressing up:
It shouldn't be that cold in S.F., at least during the day. But if it is, a long, waterproof overcoat is your friend. Look for one of those packable, crushable ones if they still make 'em.

Poo poo, my dog got sick, so I missed Day One. Tomorrow I shall be there with AVENGEANCE, though. MEL is excited, I'm sure. And I couldn't pull the BC look together in time. Plus, I kinda lost my nerve. But still. I shall photog muchly! Especially the stalkage.
