Nothing personal PBE, but it'll take a lot more than your sweet talkin' to get MY pants under your bed!

Remember : It's not technically a suckerpunch if you yell ''DEFEND YOURSELF SPROCKER!'' two seconds before you let him have it.

Yeah!
I think he used to shout that while defending the red-head (Iris, I think) from Major Disaster.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

Of all redheads who got transformed in the 70s, she didn't fare too badly, all things considered.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

This thread has been on my mind these past few days. I am in the process of leaving another forum, which I had been a member of for ten months (I am not going to name the forum, because I don't want to give it publicity that it doesn't deserve.)
What I find exceptional about Legion World is that, unlike the unnamed forum and many others I have been on, it really seems to me like Gary, and Scott, and everyone else in charge, puts the needs of the forum ahead of anything else. On other forums, I have noticed that the admins and the mods often have selfish private agendas which lead to back-stabbing and feuds. I don't see any of that on LW, which is why I think it's so peaceful.
Any disagreements I've had on LW have been either very polite, or they've been quickly resolved and put behind us. Words cannot express how much that means to me, because I have a personality which normally does not adapt well to message boards: I am highly opinionated, yet at the same time I don't like getting into arguments (it's the Aries in me.)
I think that LW brings out the best in all of us. Rick's observation on Page One of this thread, about everyone here either being a decent person from the start or becoming a decent person over time, rings true.
And so I want to thank you all for making this one of the very few forums which has successfully achieved a feeling of community.

Me? That'll be the day. I've never wanted to be in charge of anything. Too many headaches.

Yeah, it's amazing we stay sane... oh, wait a minute...
Thanks for the compliments, Stealth, I'm sure we all apreciate it. Gary and Scott have been really great. I've done a bit of moderating before, but I've never been as comfortable about it as I am here.

[Raises fist as high as it goes] YOOOO, LEGION! Now, where did I leave my set of trick javelins...?

See, that's a plus with this "no pants" thing of mine... I always know where my javelin is.

I may often misplace my javelins, but there's so many advantages to compensate -- I have a dozen javelins, not one, and each one has a different gimmick. Why, in the G.I. Joe Season 2 title sequence, one of my javelins released a giant net which tangled up Serpentor and made him fall flat on his pompous ass. Can your javelin do that?

Maybe that's why Destro and Cobra Commander wore those masks in shame. There was no internet hocking those products back then.
There we have it, the root cause of the GI Joe Cobra conflict.

Legion World is more than a web-site. It's a… a state of mind. Yeah, that’s the ticket… “A State of Mind”
And Gary, Scott and Caroline are our collective "Consciousness Gurus."
Or something like that...
Just an Old, Broke-Down, Drunk, Bum!!
With a Power Ring...
