Well, the last of the Thanksgiving cookies are history, though I still have to clean the cookie sheets.  Butterscotch the Evil greatly enjoyed the turkey giblets (donated by a neighbor). The Sid turned up his nose at them. (This is the same cat who ate a string and sampled beer foam once.)  And with that, another holiday draws to a close. I hope it was enjoyable for the rest of the LMB, too!

So, soon it will be off to my Grandmother's as has been the case for the past 40-plus Thanksgivings... I look forward to her roast and her dressing, 2 things I get to eat only twice a year! My Mom also decided to cook out of nowhere this year and has a major feast planned so I will be going over there this evening. I already have a sackful of "to-go" containers packed. Mother and I are using today as a prep day. We're hosting a "Family of Choice" Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow for our dear ones here in Houston. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
