Let's definitely have a boxed lunch social today in open defiance of the ridiculous no boxed lunch social law. I'll bring preserves, wear a very big hat and sharpen my claws.

Why Ms. Cramer, that is the most lovely hat I have seen in quite some time. It is like the perfect frame for the work of art that is your face. Would you care for a Lemonade, pink or Aunt Ida's Special blend?

(psst - what's a boxed lunch special? I'm not sure I understand the difference between a regular lunch that is in a box?)

Cobie, it is boxed lunch SOCIAL. Basically a picnic with indivdual lunches packed in boxes. In some cases, you would have the gentlemen picking a lunch prepared and boxed by various young ladies and the two would share the lunch.

Ah. Well that sounds delightful. I'll have to find a lunch packed by a lovely lady myself then.

Oh, by the way, boxed lunch socials are forbidden under imperial Legion World law III.C (criminalizing unnecessary displays of frivolity when in a state of war). You're all under arrest!

Aunt Ida's lemonade has been known to encourage silliness & nakedness.

At least you don't have to worry about stagnation.

Regression is at least less boring than stagnation.

Agreed! Regression is perhaps even progression in the right setting.
