Oh, you didn't miss. The force-field generator activated.
And just because I'm so happy about recent happenings in the Transformers universe...
"Hey, a MOVIE! I just can't believe we did it! Starring everybody... and Prime!"

I'm happy for you Jeffy. Especially since it'll be a live action one and not another cartoon. And with Spielberg attached there may be hope for it.

One does have to wonder if they're going to throw a Spike, Sparkplug, Chip, and Carly into the movie...and what poor actors will get stuck playing those roles in front of green screens for most of the film shoot?

5 gets you 10 Chip will be played by a black actor. Spike will be a Hayden Christiansen hottie type, and Carly will be a Hillary Duff (or in my dreams, Julia Stiles) type. And Sparkplug will be played by Richard Gere.

Haha. Richard Gere would be hilarious! In all honesty, I can see them casting either someone like Seth Green (hottie nerd) or perhaps the nerdy kid from The Core and The New Guy to play Chip Chase. Something else else in that range. Spike and Carly scream to me to be cast as B-string TV actors/stars, though a surprise like Julia Stiles as Carly would be FAR preferable! Watch, they go for the comic's humans instead, and we get Sparkplug, Buster, retconned brother Spike, loveable best friend "O", and girl-next door/girlfriend Jessie! Dear Lord, I hate those comic humans. Why do I still remember their names, ten years later?

You know, we need a Megatron gramelin to rival ol' Optimus! Maybe have him transform into a gun and jump into Orion the Hunter's hands?

By the way, KP, any chance of reviving ye olde Transformers Universe-type profiles you used to do? We're well overdue for an update and your insights!

Tis all good! Take your time! We wouldn't want to get you burned out before we learn what you REALLY thought about Beavis & Butthead...er, I mean...Runabout & Runamuck. Hmm, I just went back through this thread for good times sake (my first post was on like page sixteen or something. Geez, where have I been since then?). Lots of great TF moments, news, and roommate dilemma. I still cry laughing at Starscream in drag!

And Megatron in a beehive. For some reason, that made me laugh for like 15 minutes straight when I first saw it.

I just saw Transformers: the Movie for the first time since I've been home from school. I used to watch it at least once a month growing up, but I've definitely been slacking the past few years since I moved out. I can quote the whole thing if need be, but it's still fun to watch every once and awhile. It still holds out well against the test of time.
I thought of Kippers, Drake, and all the rest about our conversation a few weeks ago as I watched poor Brawn, Prowl, and the rest get taken out. *sob* It's still upsetting.

One of these years, we should get together (at a con or something) and have a Transformers: The Movie watching night. Oh! I plan to have some new profiles up soon! I think I'm up to the Insecticons in continuity.

Megs in a beehive. Another thing that withstands the test of time. Good job, Drake!

STU, how in the world do you embark on an insane post-a-thon and yet fail to bump THIS thread up? I mean, c'mon, you're one of the top 5 inhabitants of Kid Prime's Room!

I was so sore after posting that by the time I got here, I just fell asleep on the couch again... as usual! P.S. I've been meaning to re-watch Transformers: The Movie -- which is sitting on the bookshelf right next to me -- so I think I will do so tonight...!
