Paul's comment about Transformers got me thinking I needed to do another entry! 25. Bluestreak Function: Gunner Bluestreak gets his name from his gregarious, talkative nature. In fact, he never shuts up. Whether in the field of on R&R, time spent with Bluestreak is time to talk! Though his incessant and often inane chatter can be irritating to especially the more stoic Autobots, his camaraderie is generally very welcome, as it tends to lighten spirits in the fairly bleak situation the Autobots find themselves in, stranded on Earth fighting the Decepticons. Bluestreak feels very passionately about destroying the evil of the Decepticons. He just likes to keep things light. He's very popular with his Autobot brethren. If only they could get him to shut up once in a while. Bluestreak, though as fast in combat as in conversation, is not nearly as hardened or seasoned a fighter as his comrades. As such, sometimes he will become fairly shell-shocked and unable to make decisions. Of those Autobots whose primary function is combat, he is the most sensitive to the horrors of war. It helps Bluestreak when he has elder, more seasoned fighters with him in the field, to steady him. This weakness aside, he is one of the most powerful Autobot cars. His blazing firepower is more than enough to bring down Decepticon jets, and his speed is among the very best of the Autobots. The trick is keeping him from being so spooked.

Bluestreak would be a great LWMB ID.

Meanstreak would be a pretty cool name for a roller coaster... particularly a retro-old fashioned woodie...

And it IS a huge wooden coaster (unfortunately, not one of the best coasters there. They discovered that at the speeds it was going, it was causing itself damage, so they braked it significantly. It's kind of a yawner now.) You've REALLY got to get to Cedar Point so we can avoid any more of these mistakes in teh future!

I'm quivering with anticipation already. Just looking at that 45 degree angle lift hill and 80 degree angle first drop makes me trembly... (But I'll probably do Magnum first, so as to do them "in order"...)

Magnum XL-200 was made to be ridden -- but wouldn't you know, there's always a humongous line of people waiting to get on!

Is there a seat belt, lap bar, or over-the-head harness? Or all of the above?

Can you BELIEVE it? I'm DONE with the original Transformers! After this one, it'll be ON to the year one additions! Edited: Damn! I forgot Gears! I was so excited about being done with the originals, too. 26. Trailbreaker Function: Defensive strategist Trailbreaker likes to be a cheerleader for the rest of the Autobot team. His jovial, good-natured spirit is a positive influence to the rest of the Autobots, to be certain. Still, Trailbreaker wonders at his use to the group. It doesn't help that he is one of the most fuel-inefficient Autobots, and in a situation where resources are, at best, scarce... well, fuel is life. Trailbreaker wonders if his fuel-guzzling body doesn't repersent more of a liability than an asset to the rest of the Autobots. Prime and the rest of the Autobots do not share this view. Trailberaker is physically one of the stronger Autobots, and he has superior endurance, though his speed and manueverability are arguably the worst of all the Autobots. His largest asset to the Autobots is his unique ability, however; Trailbreaker can project a nearly-impenetrable force field. In combat, this makes him extremely useful in the evacuation of casualties and the protection of critical areas, as well as minimizing collateral damage done to the humans of Earth, which is always one of Optimus Prime's greatest concerns. Though the force field is impressive, it uses a high amount of energy, so Trailbreaker can only project it for a limited time. He is also highly useful in search, rescue, and reconnaissance operations, and he is one of the Autobots most loyal to Optimus Prime. His only weakness is a lack of offensive punch, which is not too shabby when one considers that his function to the team is defensive operations.

THERE. Now I'm done with the original Transformers. 27. Gears Function: Transport and Reconnaissance Gears enjoys complaining about things. He'll complain about someone sitting too close to him and then once they move, complain about the fact that no one is sitting by him. One would think that this would produce an averse reaction to him from the rest of the team. However, this isn't so. His "sour grapes" attitude is so predictable that it's often comical, and so he has become kind of a grumbling mascot for the rest of the team. He realizes that, oddly enough, his grumbling often can lift the spirits of his teammates, and therefore, Gears grumbles as much as possible. The fact that he would grumble as much as possible even without the positive effects it can produce is completely irrelevant. Gears has trememdous strength and endurance, and so he is often used for transport, as he really is not much of a combatant. He also has a knack for finding things using his infrared sensors, so he is good to have around on reconnaissance missions. He's about the only Autobot who can spot Ravage, for example, if he is hiding in the shadows. Though Gears' sour personality is mainly an act, sometimes the thought of his beloved Cybertron can depress him and negatively affect his performance.

I didn't realize that you wrote all the descriptions yourself, Jeff. You should think about publishing the collection.

Like I told Scott a long, long time ago in this thread ... there are like 4000 Transformers websites out there already. But thanks for the compliment! Look at it like this, everyone on Legion World are the only ones privileged enough to be privy to my Transformers profiles!
