We know Babbage is from Robotica (and my curent pet theory is that the entire Robotican race was built on the self replicating nanotech of Valor's 20th century ship, having given itself the same "seeding mission" as Valor.) but did we get homeworlds for Amp Girl and Retro?

POWERS: Able to remove small quantities of matter (apx equal to her own body weight) from this reality into an interdimensional tesseract.

NOTE: Identical to the preboot Stone Boy except has mobility in stone form.

CODENAME: Impulse (TPTB should allow use of the name now that bart has reverted to Kid Flash)
POWERS: Identical to Ultra Boy, at apx 1/2 his strength, except can use powers simultaniously.
NOTE: A member of Rimbor's Emerald Dragon gang, gained powers in similar fashion to Ultra Boy. Not swallowed by spaCe whale (that was just a story Jo made up as he did not want to admit to kids his past as a gang member) but injured in initiation test to his gang during Rimbor's annual Running of the Dragons, and event similar to the running of the bulls in which brave Rimborians fly small personal cruisers through migrating ultra energy beasts. Kent has joined the Legion in hopes of learning medical skills in which to cure his younger brother Devem who was crippled in a recent running.

Not Lamprey. Actually the reboot Chlorphyll Kid.

Polar Boy. There should be an untold tale about how the Legion discovered the Subs, the good they did during several recent invasions, and so used their group as a foundation for the Legion's cadet program. The idea being to nurture worthy application not yet ready for full membership rather than merely rejecting them.


Comet Queen, identical in every way to the preboot Queen, right down to valley girl accent.

NIGHTWIND. Wind powers and the 'gender flux' ability native to a minority of his/her people's population. "When the sun's down, Nightwind blows any direction you want..."

Maybe someone from Mano's homeworld?

FLYING FOX-- the mystery mammal. He boasts of a link to the obscure hero of Earth's WWII. Is he that hero's implausible reincarnation? A mystical familiar claiming his independant identity? A possible friend for Cosmic Boy as an ancient history buff?

FLYING FOX has 'individual evolution' powers... he and his people boast of their unmatched abilities to adapt to any environment. He has the mystical ability to instantly do just that.

In addition to 'individual evolution', FOX can induce euphoric states in those around him. "More than one way to fly..." is his motto.

The Council of Vulpanity has issued a condemnation of the coloration of this sentient. "Murky *brown*? <snarl... yip...> Anyone can see the glorious orange/red or so-white-it-hurts of a true Vulpine's fur!"



the GAS GIANT... who can grow to enormous proportions, but only in a gaseous state. Sort of comibines the abilities of Apparition and Leviathan. When gaseous and enlarged (there's a pretty combination...), he can effect unpredictable changes in biological beings through which he 'passes'-- or who pass through him.



DEVILFISH... has water-creating powers. The fish-head is actually his entire body... the 'humanoid exoskeleton' it rests upon was foisted upon him by the image-conscious (or overly whimsical) Athramite consultants.

STONEBLOK... I really hope there're connections to both Dryad AND Zwen, somehow... and absolutely *no* relationship to Darkseid or Apokalips. I *am* suprised at how much I'm looking forward to learning the background of this character.



KENT SHAKESPEARE... IMPULSE? Hopefully, he'll retain the medical background and will be a team medic sometime down the road.


LOVE the idea of an updated CHOLOROPHYLL KID!!!! I didn't even *think* of Lamprey when I saw this character... she wouldn't be the same without the dramatically long hair, IMO.

Now if there's just some sort of connection to the DODA NETWORK, I'll really be happy...




POLAR BOY-- red doesn't suit him, really. Though Tharr is a *hot* world, isn't it? Hmmm. I wasn't sure the insignia was a glacier/iceberg when I first saw it. I though it might be a tooth!
