Perhaps he can run as your Deputy...?

Actually, I've hired him as my own personnal errand-runner. Basically, his job will be to go to Touston and Greg Evignan Island and egg EDE's car. I just have to get him to stop trying to eat the eggs...

Did you hear that, Cobalt Kid publicly endorsed hiring homeless addicts to work in make work projects of questionable legality when he's just a candidate.
Imagine what that tax-and-spend liberal will do with our tax money after he's elected.
[This slanderous diatribe is in no way an endorsment of any candidate. This message paid for by Frustrated Male Evil Geniuses for promiscuous female candidates.]

Cobie dear, I'm thinking that you should move your campaign headquarters to some other alley. I don't know that I approve of your behavior in the EG Supper Club...

Remember : It's not technically a suckerpunch if you yell ''DEFEND YOURSELF SPROCKER!'' two seconds before you let him have it.

Only in Florida.
Although if you were dead, you could vote in Chicago.

If you walk on four legs and answered to fluffy you could vote in Chicago. As long as you were registered with the Mayor's party.

If elected LMB leader, I promise to change the moniker to something more historical, like 'LMB Imperator' or 'Dominus'.

Well, you haven't seen him when he wakes up in the morning, Miner...

I'm considering making you some type of high ranking official if I win Miner. I think a bug going through alcohol withdrawl wielding a giant lightning whip with full mastery over ordinary humans would be the type of government I'd want to be remembered for in Legion lore. I'll take care of the lightning whip too.

I'll assume that means you'll gladly take the job!
Just think of the potential Cobalt era: no mind-tampering/memory altering, no super-villains busting out of prisons to get revenge. Why? Because we'll just hurl them into the sun Mearl Dox-style!

And since all non-alcoholic beverages will be banned in LMB HQ's once I'm elected, I'll ensure no one ever has the DTs!
