The pair of cardinals that show up at my mother's backyard every day between 6-7pm.
They gorge themselves at the birdfeeder, take a drink from the birdbath, then fly off contentedly.

I'm with you on the cardinals. I'm also a fan of the lizards who visit our backyard fountain slightly before noon each day.
