I finally got around to developing my film from San Diego, after nearly four months ... gotta get a digital camera soon.

I think these people are all camera shy and like to pretend they're hideous to avoid posting. I know I hate having my picture taken - though it's not quite as bad when I take the pic myself with a digital cam.

When I worked for a bank, a group of us took a customer service training. Part of the training had us role play a transaction which was videoed and played back for us. Everyone said "Oh I look horrible" when their video played. But I thought "They look just like themselves. And none of them look horrible". Then when mine played, I thought "I look horrible" But I was smart enough not to say so out loud.

and hopefull smart enough to realize that you don't.

Sure, Quis has to go and remind me that I'm starting training for a bank job next Monday. I'll undoubtedly have to do this same sort of role playing. I'm sure I'll be thinking of this thread.
