This probably all comes from fairy tales in which the princess is asleep for a thousand years or can't sleep on a pea - something about coma-states and royalty.
I wonder if the new Princess will continue the trend.

Hey, do NOT muck about with Jeckie. Since Val kicked off, i kinda wanted her with Brin. The old beauty and the beast routine.
And yeah, the coma thing was lame, but really, she was so bright a star, the rest of the legion girls were jealous, and threatened to go on strike if the writers didn't make them look better.
