So, pending my schedule... it looks like I'll be getting to hang a bit with Shark Lad in Philly this weekend. Concerning LW meet-ups, that'll mean that Sharky and I now join the "Six Timers Club," so to speak.

That got me thinking... I wonder who I've actually met from here, and how many times?

With a couple of big get-togethers on the horizon over the next couple years (San Diego, Chicago, etc.) I thought it would be neat to see what everyone's "master list" looks like.


There's a couple folks that I've only "met" in the sense that I sat next to them in a convention panel, and then later found out who they were here, so I'll only count that as a "half-meeting", but basically my "get together" history is:

The only LWer I've met was Outdoor Miner. We hooked up at the Chicago comics convention in 2004.

I’m feeling a bit nostalgic thinking of everyone I’ve met and had good times with over the years. Almost everyone on here is still around, on LW or Facebook or both -- but there are definitely a number of people that I haven’t interacted with for a while. Sometimes people are busy, or just not logged on at the same time. . . sometimes messages never go through or get accidentally deleted and the communications just peter off. Anyway, going over this list, I definitely feel it would be great to hear from old friends again and catch up!

Since Kent and I overlap a lot, I’ve used his list as a template for mine. Thanks for the memory, Kent!

Nah, Lardy's the ultimate "chase" variant, since he's yet to be collected. He's like one of those ultra-rare figures that seems to proliferate, but only on eBay at exorbitant sums -- no one you know has actually managed to get a hold of one!
