Not just health food, but "raw" food, as well. It's a whole extra level of high-priced trendy.
Myself, I don't think kale is workable without being pan-sauteed in a bit of garlic and olive oil, but to each their own I guess...
I can tolerate raw broccoli, but I prefer it lightly steamed or stir-fried, personally.

There was a doctor on the radio going on about everyone having individual microbe mixes and adjusting their diet to match that. Rather than be led by food labels, that he says are all the fault of big food companies. He's 15 mins in, and he's namedropped a new approach a few times on the BBC. A producer must have had a word and got them to declare he's a director of the company selling this approach, linked up with a uni, that no doubt will have ties to various big companies. >sigh< Anyway, he said that you should be eating 30 different types of plant based food a week.
