Aww, you're too sweet Rockhopper Lad.  Cobie, too.  I guess I spoke too soon-- apparently we can come into town on the weekends for free time. It's a blast, though I hurt something fierce from our "hike" down and up a mountain. *sniff* I miss you all though!! Talk to you soon.

*snerk* Right, then. So, the holidays (and finals) are almost upon us. But the end is in sight. And I'm very excited because on the 25th this year I'm doing something I've never done before: travelling to New Zealand!! I'm going to New Zealand for six days and then hopping over to Australia for another six before returning home for school. It dawned on me yesterday that this (expensive) trip is less than three weeks away!! Yay!! Anyway, I'm going to be in Dunedin with a friend and her family in New Zealand, then Sydney (and surrounding areas) with another my friend. So. For those of you who live or have visited down under-- any toursit-y suggestions?? There are penguins, bungee jumping, dolphins, bars and wineries on the itinery so far but I am always up for more fun. And wish me luck on those finals. I might just need it...

Well, we do have penguins at Moody Gardens in Galveston and Sea World in San Antonio, but I think FC was referring to me (Rockhopper Lad, that is not John ).

My daughter did that trip last year. I'll ask her what she recomends (and some safety tips) for Sydney and give you a pm if thats OK.

I bumped up my "pics from NZ" thread from when I went there a couple years ago (I was also in Sydney): Pics from my New Zealand trip I'd recommend Queenstown on the South Island - tons of fun stuff to do there though the South Island in general is awesome to drive around. Youcan find out more in my thread!

Aaaaaand I'm back! Whew. Joe-Boy and I teamed up and showed Australia what's what. It was silly times. Will probably post pictures someday when I figure out how to do that with my camera of new Christmas joy! Missed you all. Hope everyone had a fantabulous holiday season and stuff. Love to all!
