Cal's a gal that must have a permanent thread devoted to her.
Let's adore her in this one from now on!

W00T!!! What a relief, my editor was telling me that Cali's fanboys were demanding that the Evil Genius Supper Club become Caliente and the Evil Genius Supper Club because her high scores in school place her higher than Tamper Lad on the Legion World Order of Merit.

I demand discussion of Caliente's activities regarding kittens, puppies, orphans, and old people!

I'd wager that she likes kittens and puppies, but has had little contact with orphans and old people.

I would think that her presence on Legion World counts as interaction with old people.

and cats, but we haven't had puppies since STU's dog years. I'll buy some orphans on eBay, so we can see how she threats them.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

We're gonna fix the old people thing in San Diego, so why don't you join us and bring along some kittens puppies and orphans? P.S. If you're not going to be there, we need a New Lash List for this convention... Cobie, Pov, Quis, and I had a ball looking for comics to go into the Lash Pile in Boston.

Wow, a thread for little ol' meeee? I feel like breaking out the pom poms!! All right, that was just embarrassing to admit. So, moving on to the kitten/puppy/orphan/old people debate... -- Kitties: Well, I've never owned any but my aunt has and I used to live with her. I've also worked at an animal hospital before as a receptionist. I must admit that my roommates are more the cat people than me; they even fed a stray cat and played with it before. I played with it a little but I was nervous, since I worked in the hospital and have seen sick animals before and... yeah. It can be bad if the animal doesn't have shots and things. -- Puppies: My parents have had them since I was born! I I thought about volunteering at an old folks home, but I decided to work with kids instead with a pre-professional program. I kids too!! Kids and puppies are my favorite! All right, so ignore all that rambling above if you like and just get out of it that Lash was basically right. It's not that I don't like orphans or old people... I mean, Tamper made a good point. I do hang out here! But then you guys put up with a baby like me, so I figure we're fair. Thanks for the winning line Cobster! Though, you left out my astounding beauty and amazing intellect. It's okay, though. I'll forgive you this time. And special thanks to Lash, without whom this thread would never have come to exist. *sniff sniff* It's such an honor... You like me, you really like me...

I left out how the people at Starbucks were flabbergasted that two people as attractive as you and I were interacting with ordinary folk!

Well, technically, we weren't interacting with the ordinary folk. But I do recall the shock and awe of our mere presences. And in a chain coffee house no less!

An all-Cali thread would not be complete without mentioning one of her favorite (also one of my favorite) comic book artists.
Gimme an M!
Gimme a C!
Gimme a K!
Gimme an O!
Gimme an N!
Gimme an E!
What does that spell?
McKone, McKone, Mike McKone!
Exiles, Teen Titans, and Fantastic Four!
Exiles, Teen Titans, and Fantastic Four!
McKone, McKone, Mike McKone!
Yay!

Does she have a SHAKES drink named after her yet? Maybe a Caliente Flash? Drink one and you ace an exam...

Turning the subject to me for a moment-- as I am wont to do-- I find it extremely cute that I have a "Lash pile"!

I thought that SHAKES named Legion World's version of the 'Prairie Fire' after her (Caliente's Fire). It would be appropriate considering both versions of Caliente's Fire have a bad effect on my digestion.

Thank you, sister-in-fangirldom. You have good taste, too. Barry, of course. How could I forget Barry? Should I do a cheer for Barry, like I did for McKone? Nah, Barry's a LW member, so he already knows we love him.

*pets Jinx* Er, you don't claw... right? Cramer, I like the way you think! Drinking should always make you smarter... Tamper, honey, you wish I would give you indigestion. Among other things... Hee. Stealth, you're so cute. <3 Man, if only McKone could do LSH annuals like he did for L.E.G.I.O.N. baaaack in the day. It'd be a reunion! Or... something.

Awww. Thanks, Cali. <3
McKone drawing Threeboot annuals is a brilliant idea. I just hope he's not "Marvel Exclusive."
Barry, Mark, are you guys reading this?

Brilliant ideas aside... I must rejoice at the end of the quarter!! It's been over for a couple days no, actually (I'm well into spring break ), but I've been celebrated and with dial-up so, y'know... yeah. Anyway!! I'm gleeful and whatnot. Got an A in OChem (plus another A, an A+ and a B+ -- that's Dean's honors, baby!) and now I'm in DC for a friend's wedding reception. But, yes. Enough bragging from me. I only wanted to use my all-new all-now permanent showcase thread to give all you Legion Worlders big and whatnot. Good moods being contageous and whatnot.

Great going on getting through the exams, Cali! There really ought to be a little graemlin picture of Dream Girl or somebody blowing kisses to commemorate the event! Congratulations again, Hon!

I could have predicted Cali's success. After all evil geniuses choose their associates carefully. Now if only she were more evil.
Congrats Cali.
