Legion info: I think, as far as how I started, I'd really have to blame scans_daily the most. I... liked what I saw and, as always, decided to look a little further than I perhaps should've! Which is really how all my obsessions start. I still have some trouble keeping track of all the writers/artists and the eras, though (particularly the ones before Zero Hour - yes, I'm weak). My favourite character across all the reboots and different versions would have to be Brainiac 5 (something about a descendant of Superman's enemy gone good but who frequently goes insane, almost blowing up THE WORLD appeals to me, I guess), but I'm also quite fond of Saturn Girl, Invisible Kid, Dream Girl, Shikari, Lightning Lad and Lord, Phantom Girl, and Timber Wolf (though I'm actually not sure why) from various incarnations. (And Matter-eater Lad. Who couldn't love him.)

Other things you like: Comic-wise, a lot of Vertigo - DC and I still aren't on speaking terms since Infinite Crisis, but I can't help but love their adult line; at Marvel, Runaways and X-Factor. Used to really be into anime/manga, but ever since Akira nothing's really matched up, and I've mostly moved past it. Nonetheless: lots of drawing!
I hardly watch many movies or much TV anymore, except for my cartoons (YES!), but I enjoy me some fake, satirical news.

Being really shy, I'm probably going to end up like some rare sighting of the Sasquatch, but I'm very usually watching. And drawing.

Greets! I'm yet another example of the influx to Legion fandom via the animated series. I came across this place while looking for a good place to discuss the series and characters, and hopefully find a place with fan art and fan fic. (There really isn't too much on the animated series out there, yet.)

Occupation: Specimen Prep Tech (part of a unit that's between the docs/hospitals and the labs)

Favorite Legionnaire: So far and only via the animated series, Brainiac 5. (Like the mecha freak would pick anyone else first? LOL. But seriously, I like the smart ones. And the ones that look harmless enough at FIRST.....)

Other Series/Fandoms: Transformers...my first love as a child and one I'm still very into, mostly with Gen1, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Galaxy Force and the more recent comics. I've also taken an active interest in Avatar the Last Airbender, The Batman and Teen Titans. In the past, I've been very active in the fandoms for Gundam (particularly Wing and G), and Suikoden III.

So, anyway, hi! Probably a longer than necessary introduction, but I'll be around. Just don't mind any typos I might make on the occasion. I try to proofread, I really do, but I work a graveyard shift and sometimes I'm a little too fuzzy in the head to catch all my typing mistakes. ^_^;

First starting reading the series a few years ago when I bought my very first Legion comic, a 1976 comic featuring the Adult Legion.
