Furball and Hot Chick land outside the Casino.

Furball goes in again, and comes out after a minute.

He looks sat Hot Chick, "Hon, I need you to take me to the coroners office as fast as possible. This is a little side trip, but I saw caught wind of something in there that can;t wait. I then need to do a trip around the city," he points up, "...up there."

Something else else...doesn't feel right here, fuzzy. I don't know if that means we should stay...or go.

He grabs Hot Chick.

"What's wrong?" He starts to look around frantically..."what the hell is going on?"

I...I don't know. I sense something! Maybe...he's here? St-stay close to me!

{puts up light shield around them & signals Security Office for help}

"Gladly."

<Cobalt Kid rushes across Legion World at top speed, landing down at the Casino, now closed after recent attacks>

Furball! Hot Chick! Where are you?!

You've got to get out now!

This is a trap! The Red Bee has no scent!

A trap indeed.

*Zaryan's Palace erupts into flame and debris as Cobalt Kid, Furball and Hot Chick are caught in the explosion.*

{force field buckles in the frorce of the explosion}

Aaaarggggh!!

<Cobalt is caught in the explosion but at the last minute, Hot Chick pulls him towards her and Furball>

<He tries to speak but he can barely keep his eyes open from the force of the blast. As he slips towards unconsciousness, he looks at Hot Chick, maybe truly looking at her for the first time, and wonders exactly who she is…>

<Cobalt passes out from the pain of the burns on his body>

As the force field buckles, Furball tries to position himself between Hot Chick and the main brunt of the blast...he has no idea if he is successful as he passes out from pain.

{she struggles to maintain her shield but pushes herself to the limit to save them all}

Can't...pass out... {looks at Furball} ...this one is so noble...I couldn't bear for him to die! I-I really like him...

{her features shift briefly as she almost loses consciousness}

I'm glad they're out of it because I'm barely holding the illusion...priority is surviving, though...

{can't hold up force field any more}

*gasp* We're cocooned in by rubble. I...have no power to muster to blast through....Cobalt looks like he's out for the duration--Fuzzy, too. {holds the unconscious Furball tightly}

...I'm here...

<Cobalt raises head, barely awake>

...I'll get us out. Hold us tight in the bubble and I'll use the magnetism to push us out with the debris. But don't let the debris through the cocoon or we're dead.

<blood runs down his face as he lays flat on his back, only raising his neck; he is covered in burns>

...let's do this...

<begins using debris via magnetism to push out Hot Chick's light cocoon so they can get out of harm's way; it takes every ounce of energy, but at last, they begin to move>

...whoever you are...thanks...

<puts hand on Hot Chick's hand>

<they soon emerge from the rubble still cocooned>

<Cobalt passes out from pain>

<Hot Chick, Cobalt Kid, Furball and the others feel themselves lifted up as if in a dream and whisked away .... warm flames surrounding them>
