False. Love is like that thing in Matt Groening's book where you get pinned under a runaway snowmobile and then ice weasels show up to finish you off. Plus, Culture Club makes me want to punch a wall. Always has.

I actually prefer autumn, though I use both words. Not that we have either where I live. I goes right from summer to winter here.
SAPBM,
Oldie but goodie: You may have dinner with three Legion Worlders that you heretofore have not met in person. Who are they?

There are several combinations:
Flirtfest: Lash, Mattropolis and Lad Boy.
Laughfest: Lardy, Cleome and Fanfie.
Nerdfest: EDE, He Who and Tamper.

Eighteen. A late starter because I was raised on funny animal comics and didn't get into superheroes until young adulthood. My first LSH issue was v.4 #22 or 23, the halfway point of Quiet Darkness. It didn't engage me. But around the same time, I read L.E.G.I.O.N. '91 Annual #2, and it changed my life with its awesomeness.

Eleven. My family's landlord had boxes and boxes of comics in the attic of the house they were renting. The first Legion story I read was the death of Ferro Lad. What an intro!

Nine. LSH v. 1 # 1, a reprint of "The Lad Who Wrecked the Legion" from Adv. # 328. The Legion's one and only encounter with Command Kid.

I was 7 years old, new to the country and barely spoke or read English. Comics, especially Legion really helped this Greek refugee (LOL). The first comic I picked up was the one where Roxxas wanted Jan to kill him for vengence. Oh and I always had a high regard for Mike Grell's artwork, even from way back then. SAPBM Let's keep this awesome question going shall we?

Honestly, I don't remember. A buddy of mine had a million old DC comics, handed down by an older relative who didn't want them anymore. Given the overall age of the books, I'm thinking that the first one I read must have been from the dreaded Dr. Mayavale era. But I know it wasn't that one, because I'd remember. I was around Junior High age, though. Say, Anyone Peruse Book Mobiles? Are you watching THAT sporting event today, or totally ignoring it (like me)?

Yes I certainly DID watch THAT sporting event on Sunday ... it was good to see my team win! Some Always Provide Better Motion If you could work in the comic industry would you be a respected writer or a gifted artist and which title would you write/draw?

I would be a respected writer who does the most daring and innovative Daredevil since Ann Nocenti.

Only formulaic in the broadest sense, but: Justice League.
The pattern seems to be: establish the team with all the A-list DC heroes; little by little winnow them off adding second stringers until that's all that's left; have the team suffer a breakdown; RE-establish the team with the A-listers; ad nauseum. The JLA should be, to my mind, the elite of the DCU. I have no desire to read a team with Congorilla, the blue Starman, or any number of other, lesser lights.
SAPBM,
Where is the most exotic locale, to which you haven't already been, to which you would like to travel?

I've never done any real traveling, so that would make just about any trip "exotic" at this point.

Wow, that's a tough one... HUGE fan of both... in my high school yearbook, under future plans it says "To move to Bloom County and marry Lola Granola"... named my first cat Hobbes...
In the end, it's gotta be Calvin & Hobbes

I'll opt for Greek if it's Summer, but Italian if it's Winter. In Spring or Fall, I guess only a coin-toss can determine the winner. Soup's Always Prized By Mom How many LMB posters does it take to change a light bulb?
