Does anyone know when it is coming out? Says March 8th on www.dccomics.com but that date has come and gone...no book.

Ok. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. People have to go to the DCMBs to be spoiled .

Ok. I can't wait until this issue hits the stands. I want to speculate on who these silhouettes are now! So, please don't look at the below image if you get upset by being spoiled even the slightest. I repeat look at the below image only if you don't mind seeing a spoiler! Click Here For A Spoiler Who are the mystery Legionnaires? The one I speculate as Invisible Kid looks too effeminate to be male, but has some of IK's characteristics. And is Sun Boy back as the bald Legionnaire? If not, then where is IK and why isn't Supergirl among the Legionnaires shown? Or is she?

That is a *MUCH* better roll call page than the one we've been seeing in the series until now!

Very interesting. A pleasing issue even if Cosmic Boy is back and talking again.

This book is a joke. I'm sick and tired of the adults vrs. kids theme. I'm tired of the amoral stance of lets have "children" i.e. teenagers, i.e. underages have sex with multi partners i.e. promiscuity with no apparent consequences (is this really the message you want to send young readers?).
Sorry Waid and Kitson, but you have ruined this book. Not only have you lost my respect but you've also lost my money. But then, i don't think you really have any respect for your readers, especially for us long-time fans. Ciao!

My thoughts. Thanks Mark & Barry for the treat that is issue #16. I felt pages 6-22 where one of the best Legion stories that I have read in years. While pages 1-5 didn't really work for me, the rest was absolutely amazing! In an interview, Steve Wacker expressed how great Barry's work looked on the upcoming issues. Well I for one, being a HUGE Kitson fan, really didn't get what Steve was saying, as I feel Barry's work is nothing short of perfection....... Well, with the art in this issue, Barry has risen the bar even higher. I loved the ploting, layout, AND execution. Brilliant! I am so excited for issue #17, probably more excited than I have been for the "next issue" in a LONG time! Flippin Sweet, as Napoleon would say! LLLater!

As a longtime fan (since at least the mid-70's), I couldn't disagree more with you and find this sort of reaction to this series baffling. This series my not be an organic extention of the Pre-Boot/Crisis Legion (yet!), but it is not only one of the best interpretations since, it is in it's own way far more respectful to what has gone before than the Post-Boot Legion. I loved this issue and can't wait to see where it takes us next. My only gripes are A.) Dream Girl's status and B.) the colors seem too washed out - especially with the new (better) paper quality. I hear that Ronda Pattison is available.

Taking out the first five pages and the scene in the SP branch this did feel like actully reading the Legion again, and not the Legion of Cocky Kids You Want To See Beaten. Those parts really brought down my enjoyment of and otherwise great issue. I am really and truly starting to hate this version of Ultra Boy, and and hoping to see the Persuader show up and cut him in half soon. If Waid could just do a whole issue like most of this issue was, and skip the soapbox preaching he did in the first 5 pages this book would be great.
The good parts of this issue made me decide to keep on reading for a couple more issue, or until Waid falls to far bakc into his tired old/young crap.
